Title: Knowing when youve been on the computer too long....
Post by: BFG on June 12, 2004, 05:13:31 pm
.... as when cleaning your room (it needed it) while vacuming the cord knocks a pile of inportant documents all over the floor out of order.

The fist thing that comes to mind in that split second when you go "oh no"? - well scarely the first thing i thought to myself was "its ok, Edit undo"

... god that is really quite worrying.

Sad but true, life would be so much more efficient if we had the controls that we have on our computers. Dirty scandalous secert? No problem, secure delete it! Something not go right? No problem again, just photoshop it.

Especially when you dream about meeting and doing things with other members of GR rather than your real friends or family.

You know if you had done all your paperwork online in the first place you wouldnt have this problem.  ;)

Well, i know I have spent far too long playing GhR and RvS when I go somewhere and think, 'fuck, this would be hard to siege.'

... then i in my mind I plan out how I would storm the place.... and its just a freakin' Jiffy Lube.

Haha, weakspot, I did the same thing. A few months back, I was delivering pizza to an apartment building that I'd never been to before. My destination was three stories up on the top floor, and the only access was via a single staircase. The stairway had walls on both sides which were barely wide enough for me to pass through without having to turn my shoulders, and there was a blind switchback on the way to each floor. After rounding each switchback, I was looking up at a concrete archway which gave out onto the next floor. The whole way up, I was thinking, "This would be a cast-iron bitch to clear." I felt like I was at the wrong end of a shooting gallery after coming around each switchback. I sincerely hope that SWAT never has to respond there.

Hey Loth, there's something we both have in common.  I delivered pizza all through high school and part of college.  I worked for Pizza Hut.  Who do you work for?

    Papa John's.

Nice.  My Title Clerk's husband owns the Papa John's stores on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.
