thinksecret (http://www.thinksecret.com/news/newdisplays.html) have done one as well -

It only has one foot in the middle rather than the two though... looks good - well it did untill the images were taken away

I dunno, id prefer something on two supports, one at each end of the moniter, like the image civic posted.

I mean...sure it doesnt let you move the moniter around...but when its so absolutely farking -HUGE-, do you really -need- to move it around? You can see the damn thing from orbit.  Plus two seperate supports that dont move mean that it wont suddenly give up the ghost and fall on you...breaking your face as well as dousing it with liquid crystal.  Which, may be rather interesting, unless youre the person that it happened to.

for me the best thing would be to incorporate the flexability of the imac screen - but im guessing youd need one hell of a heavy foot to counterbalence the sheer size of these monitors - and not to mention imagine if it toppled over.... a 30inch screen oh god the calamity!
