Title: Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: "Sixhits" on June 01, 2004, 09:51:23 am Nice try Wolves.
A b-class player owned you today. Huzzah fro Rush. Soon gonna be yet another ring on LA's finger, laddies. Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: cO.gabe on June 01, 2004, 10:18:59 pm Screw the Lakers, they are just too good. Like the Yankees. They need to give some of their players to other teams.... the assholes.
Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: "Sixhits" on June 02, 2004, 02:46:27 am The lakers will forgive your bad words.

Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: "Sixhits" on June 02, 2004, 06:04:52 am I can't wait until Ben Wallace and 'Sheed make Shaq and Co. their little bitches. And you live in LA!!! You rat bastard! Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on June 02, 2004, 06:17:45 am No, he is really from the bay area...a L.A. transplant. As for most Lakers fans, they can go fuck themselves since most of them are hopping on the bandwagon and weren't there (as in actively rooting ont he Lakers) through the "lean" years in the 1990's between Magic and Phil.
As for Sheed and Ben Wallace shutting down Shaq, you must be kidding yourself. Ben Wallace is only a real good defender when guarding those who are smaller and slower than he is, and Sheed can only really guard big men who prefer to take outside j's like he does. Lakers have already blown through three of the top defenses in the NBA, and there is no reason why they can't destroy the Pistons. Lakers in 5 (I give the Pistons an emotional homecoming win in game 3, but nothing else) Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: crypt on June 02, 2004, 01:13:52 pm Lakers give will them the broom.
Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: kos.viper on June 02, 2004, 06:06:35 pm "Detroit Basketball!!!" woot
I should get tickets to game 3... hmm... too expensive. How dare you say "no one left who matters." The pistons have the number one defense in the NBA. Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: crypt on June 02, 2004, 07:32:52 pm Maybe so but they can't stop Shaq and Kobe.
Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: "Sixhits" on June 02, 2004, 08:30:45 pm Maybe so but they can't stop Shaq and Kobe. #1 defence and an East Coast team vs #1 offence, and a West Coast team with Four Hall of Famers. Where's my broom? Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: Ace on June 07, 2004, 06:44:35 am You were saying something about brooms I believe...
Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on June 07, 2004, 07:22:30 am Lakers played like crap, except for Shaq...it often baffles me why the Lakers go away from Shaq, especially when he was completely dominating the PIstons in the first half (20 pts). I hope my prediction of Lakers in 5 comes true, but it is looking more and more like Lakers in 6.

I hope my prediction of Lakers in 5 comes true, but it is looking more and more like Lakers in 6. Sin, I thought you would be smart enough to actually see what is going to happen the rest of the series. Detroit is by far the best defensive team in the league. Only once this postseason have they let someone score over 100 points, and it took the Nets until the second OT to break the century mark. Besides that game, only 3 times has someone broken 90 on them. Sure, Shaq had a good game, but he can't carry them alone. Detroit showed that they could double him constantly and still shut down everybody else. Sure Kobe had 25, but he went 10-27 from the floor. That's not the Kobe all the Lakers fans expect. Face it, the Lakers are overmatched. Detroit is making the Lakers play a hard fought defensive game, something this Lakers squad obviously isn't built to do. I just can't wait for the series to be over so those delusional fans will stop driving around with those ugly purple flags on their car. Go Pistons! Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on June 07, 2004, 08:52:13 am I have teh same sentiments on you regarding the flags...someone has to shoot the Latinos in San Pedro selling them out of the back of their pickups (yes, I actually saw this happening).
I still believe the Lakers will win in my heart of hearts because I doubt the rest of the Laker team will shoot as horridly as they did tonight (a lot of open jumpers being missed). I hope Kobe sees the big picture and limits his shots, therefore giving Shaq more shots to dominate. Shaq had 20 at the half and only 6 in the third quarter, gimme a break. Lakers will turn this thing around...you have my word on it. Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: Ace on June 07, 2004, 09:21:55 am Lakers will turn this thing around...you have my word on it. The word of a Bruin. I feel even better about Detroit now. Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: crypt on June 07, 2004, 10:17:49 am Sure, Shaq had a good game, but he can't carry them alone. He's done it before and he'll do it again, Lakers win 108-95 in Game 2. Title: Re:Lakers ... no one left who matters Post by: kos.viper on June 07, 2004, 03:05:46 pm Ace, let's make out. ;D
I hope game one was an eye opener to all you Lakers fans. Projected to lose by 10, win by 12, haha. |
