Why are so many people suddenly leaving/retiring/being removed/being replaced/etc.?
Is it coincidental that Ghost Sniper has suddenly called for a truce?

Ok not really, I was just curious why everyone seemed to leave within the past week or so.

Tis because of the BS the assholes of the BL bring to them.

Maybe its the overweening assholeness of some new members, the stress of dealing with shitty ghr cbs(omg, OMG OMG I JUST GLITCHED, SOMEONE HELP. OMG) or just the new replacing the old...

I think it's the ungrateful bastards, but that's just me. If people keep leaving though, I might be compelled to become an Admin! dun dun dun. Well. Probably wouldn't be allowed to, since I haven't competed in the last 5 seasons or so, and don't really play games anymore.  ;D

I think it's because the BattleTek Squadron (BTs) is banned from the season.  We are an integral part of the Battle League and since we can't play, everyone has become disheartened.  But hey, we'll be back next season, right?  So everyone just come back for Season IX and all will be well again!

On a side note, season X will be a cool name for a season! Imagine, maybe we'll pull a apple and make the next season season X.1, then X.2! that would be leet in a weird way! Back on topic, no GS. Down GS.

I thought I'd miss the BTs. I don't. They are not an integral part more than ? ! ? is. GhostSniper, the BTs are oldies, not veterans.

And has anyone considered the resurgence of old rs players buying rvs and coming back to play? Hell, even happyjack found another copy of rs on his computer and is playing more. RvS has done a lot to bring a lot of the oldies back.

Actually I remember quite well eight saying BTs wasn't going to be back in the DBL.

Bah, stop being so damn self centered.  BTs is not the cog that holds the wheel that makes shit happen.  We are just a group of people who came along just like everyone else.

As for why are people leaving, well, basically, it's just life.  Things come along that don't allow you to play games that much anymore.  There is also a point in almost everyones life where you find something else to do.

So I say have the best of times on your next adventure and much like the drinking buddies you only see every now and then, drop on by and buy us a drink, you are always welcome.
