Title: Ibook 12" or Ibook 14" Post by: [[EUR]] HoloGram on April 30, 2004, 06:27:22 pm I think of getting a mobile Mac. I already have a G5 for high performance work.
What would you prefer guys? Anyone has a ibook 12" isnt the screen to small? I did some comparison between those two, but it long ago. In this comparison I figured out that the 14" Screen is a less sharp then the 12" - Is the 14" worth the 300 Eur more. At the moment I have the option to get the 933 G4 14" for a price of 1200,- I would say it isnt worth to get the 1Ghz and to pay the 200 Eur just for 67 Mhz as long as I can get the 14" 933Mhz for nearly the same price as the 1Ghz 12". The 12" is actually really good and it's size and weight make for a wonderful machine. It's 12" screen doesn't affect me much when I use it - I think ppl adapt quickly to it.

It really depends how much 'Oomph' you need while your on the move.

When you need a bigger screen (the one or two times a year), you can plug it into another monitor or just use your desktop. The 12" is just that much more portable.
