Title: How Apple did me a good turn, part 2 Post by: "Sixhits" on April 22, 2004, 10:31:26 pm Apple was sending me a 1 gig G4 14" iBook; the last revision before the newest revision. This was to replace my shitty, recalled old '02 iBook.
Instead, Apple has sent me the new 1.2 gig G4 iBook. ..... APPLE FUCKING RULES!!!!!! I wanna rush to eBay and buy one of the bad ones so I can turn around and get a trade-up from Apple! lol

Maybe i should snap this iMac's neck and say it tried to hang itself. Title: Re:How Apple did me a good turn, part 2 Post by: Typhy on April 23, 2004, 04:33:26 am Same thing happened to me with my old Powerbook. Ordered a 667Mhz G4, then the 800Mhz model came out - Apple shipped me a 800.

Any computer company would try to replace his computer with the oldest possible model, only upgrading him if the older models were not in stock. If you read his other thread, you will note that he said that the older models were on backorder or out of stock.
