The Detroit Red Wings just clinched their 4th President's Trophy in the past 10 years. If you don't know, the President's Trophy goes out to the team with the best record in the regular season. On to the Stanley Cup, where they could also win their 4th in the last 10 years. Of course they are loosing to the Blue Jacket's as I am typing this, but oh well, can't win them all. And you probably heard them say that the last three times they won the cup, the lost the last regular season game. So that's a good omen too. As for you non-believers, where were your teams all season? The Wings have been missing players all season long due to injury, but still have the best record in hockey. They will only be better in the playoffs. The Av's aren't anything without Roy, so they don't even worry me. They won't even survive long enough to face the Wings. Anyhow this is my playoff prediction, I'm prolly the biggest NHL fan on GR so of course my predicitons will kick serious ass. West first (round 1): Detroit vs. Nashville (Detroit in 5), San Jose vs. St. Louis (San Jose in 6), Vancouver vs. Calgary (Vancouver in 6), Colorado vs. Dallas (Dallas in 7, yes Dallas) Eastern conference, first round: Tampa vs. N.Y. Islanders (Tampa in 5), Boston vs. Montreal (Boston in 6), Philly vs. Jersey (Philly in 7), and of course the best team in the league (Toronto) defeating team gay (Ottawa) in 7 games. So then the 2nd round matchups in the west would be: Detroit vs. Dallas (Detroit in 6), and Vancouver vs. San Jose (Vancouver in 7). And 2nd round in east would be: Tampa vs. Toronto (Toronto in 7) and Philly vs. Boston (Boston in 7). Western conference finaly Detroit vs. Vancouver (Detroit winning in 6) and Toronto vs. Boston (Toronto winning in 6). Setting up a Detroit vs. Toronto final resulting in a Leaf victory (in 6 games) snapping a 37 year cup drought in Toronto and the BIGGEST FUCKING PARTY U COULD EVER IMAGINE !
