The question that arose during the cqb versus z][t was if the game mode: CQB Warzone was allowed. After the first game was played, the score was 0-0-1. Then for z][t's map pick they picked Aztec with CQB Warzone, which we argued against because of the rules.  Ein and I had never heard of that game mode for a cqb, therefore we contested it. We took screenshots which stated that we would play the games even if it was against the rules, BUT if we found out after the game that it is not legal, we would not count the game. We played the last three games in CQB Warzone mode, which we then found out is not legal until next season. The games should not count, but what should be done?

Well has the match been submitted or not? If it hasn't, the simple answer is to just forget that the match occured. If it has been submitted, then the loser can contest the match and ask here on the forum that it be annulled.

Yes Aramarth, I wish the match to be anulled since it has already been posted by z][t. Since there was no lead by either team (The score was 0-0-1) when we began to play CQB Warzone mode, I believe it is only fair.

u didnt have to choose cqb wz... the score shows u always had to choose the gamemode after the first game.

I'm not quite sure what you meant in your last post civic. Can you explain it a little more?

u still had the possibility to choose LMS or not? u obviously didnt like WZ since u want it to be anulled now... but still chose it in the cqb.

I was going by what Logic claimed the rules were.  If those were the rules, and we could play wz on cqb then i would pick wz. Since that is not the case, I stated, "if those are not the rules," then we will not count the match. In other words, I only played the cqb wz because I thought they were the rules.

CQB warzone is an addition to the offical *DAMN map pack. The map pack is mandatory unless agreed otherwise at the start of the cb. CQB warzone is obviously not intended for ordinary cbs. Domination is also a new game mode that people get confused over.

Now, why add it to the mandatory map pack if you were not expected to play it? Cheap, Lethal.

Tell me exactly what rule says that a cqb wz is allowed on cqbs and where does it say that for this season? After reading the rules for myself during the game, what I saw was the only game mode allowed in a cqb is lms.

What Civic tried to say is:

4 rounds were played... Zero T picked map once... CQB warzone was played 3 times. I think is an attempt at a cheap win. If they really felt the rules spoke so strongly for their case, they shouldn't have played. They agreed on playing it, so even if these outdated rules don't say you are allowed to, they agreed on it. Rule 28?

Wrong, we did not agree to play it. I have screenshots showing that we agreed to play it HOWEVER, if I found out after they game that those are not the rules (which I later did), I told them i would not count the game.

The current rules encompass Siege... Funny... That is not allowed anymore.

I say again: It is a part of the official *DAMN map pack.

I will tell you what. I am far too fed up to put up with the crap I am reading in this thread after all the other things I've done today. I also don't want to lock this yet, but you've given me no choice. Let me set the record straight.

YES the cqb warzone is a part of dbl mappack 2
YES the rules say that it is not a valid gametype yet
YES it will be a valid gametype next season
NO it is not valid right now

NOW gentlemen.... or children, as it sounds in this case... your devoted and hardworking admins are working on it. Please sit on your hands and be patient. You know what? on second thought, I won't lock this yet, to give you guys a chance to give me one good reason why I shouldn't just delete most of it.

Well Ara...this is the stuff admins have to deal with. This is why you are here, so don?t call people children, cause you apparently hate your admin job. Maybe just let some one else handle it?

OK.. [01] and z][t.. on this matter.. you guys have a choise.. you can either start the cqb over at 0-0-1 (when the cqb mod was started to be used) or you can just have the cqb nulled and deleated from the match list. The only peeps I need to hear the answer from are from Civ and leathal.. all others will be ignored. you can pm me after you guys talk to eachother about what you want to do.

Civic was not in the cb though.

I wouldn't mind replaying 0-0-1 or from scratch.

Taking into account the lack of time remaining in the Season and the circumstances it was agreed that this cb be made void and removed. In normal circumstances we would (as it was) suggest a replay of the entire cb or from the score 0-0-1 but given the limited time i doubt that will happen.

So final decision was that the CB be rejected.
