Title: Re:Multiple Monitor Help Post by: Jeb on February 05, 2004, 06:03:01 am I don't know what monitor port thingy your talking about
but if you have a card with only a DVI and a ADC port on the back you can buy an adc->vga adaptor from Dr.Bott (google) for about 30$. As far as i know, if your card has a vga port on it (the connector that screws in) your out of luck and need to buy another card which costs about 120$. I think all the cards that came installed on macs since the windtunnel g4s support dual monitors on the same card, but i'm not sure. (BTW, if it's an iMac you are fucked.) Title: Re:Multiple Monitor Help Post by: The Golden Shark on February 06, 2004, 02:17:27 am okay so ive come to the conclusion that ill probaly need a new video card :( but my specs are...
G4 533Mhz G Card = nVida GForce 2 MX thats about all i can give... there is only one monitor port, so.... Title: Re:Multiple Monitor Help Post by: Ace on February 06, 2004, 03:35:48 am You can either get a new video card supporting dual monitors or get a PCI video card and run the second monitor off that.
Title: Re:Multiple Monitor Help Post by: BFG on February 06, 2004, 06:04:20 am one of your cheapest options is probably a 2nd hand Geforce 4mx card (u can buy mine if u like ;) ) or an older version radeon card... most support duel displays.
