Jesus christ you're optimistic. The problem with that is, that a perfectly good dual 2ghz g5 had to die to make a "good looking" but worthless pc.

Maybe Apple could sell G5 cases (this retard obviously loved his) to pcers (without the apple logo of course). This could be a great way for apple to increase its figures by going after pc ppl without abondonning the faithful....

I reckon the G5 is the most finely constructed personal computer I've ever seen. Even better than the old 128's, Plusses and (maybe) the Cube.

The only way I can feel whole again is for the poor G5 case to be returned to Apple and then using secret elven metal craftmanship Jobs himself can reforge it into a new G5. Maybe it could be the first of the 2.6's and be dubbed Anduril. ;D

Then it could be sent to someone who really would appreciate design, function and form.

Maybe we should all raise some money to buy the case from him so we can bury it somewhere safe.

I dunno when a poor case has been through this much pain the only humain thing must be to put the poor computer to sleep for ever and give it a nice quiet resting place among some old matriarcle G3's. Poor little G5.

Well, everybody you can put your fears to rest.  It turns out he was pulling a prank, when he came into possession of a spare G5 case, and decided to play an evil, EVIL trick on a friend of his.  http://www.overclockers.com/tips1133/  Has an explanation.  I still dont like him. =p

Is it my own G5 case that has been cut and hacked? yes.
Did I give away two G5 2GHz processors (IBM PC 970)? no!
I got a free G5 shell from a buddy of mine and pulled a prank on a mac loving friend. he got so upset. I decided write up a little story, my imagination and warped sense of humor kicked in. I sent it to OC.com just to see their reaction. I honestly didn't think they were going to post it. I cannot believe how fast or how far it has spread on the internet. There are an amazing number of people who are emotionally attached to inanimate objects such as computers. Mac fans seem to be much worse than I ever expected. The G5 is amazing, I would never dream of really doing that ;)

Well, it seems more likely to get ahold of a G5 case than to gut a G5, I mean, not even an idiot would gut a G5 like he described at first, besides his story sounds reliable enough.

Yeah on reflection i think even the most retared of goons wouldn't slice up a G5 - hell anyone knows how much they are worth and he could have sold it, bought a G5 case (somwhere!) and bought a PC with the remaining ?2000.... much more likey than just to rip the thing to shreds.
