Panthers won 14-3 over the Eagles, Patriots won 24-14 over the Colts.

I'm stickin with my early predictions of the underdog Panthers. Afterall, when the Pats beat the Rams back in Super Bowl XXXVI, they were underdogs, so someone has to return the favor.

As for the Pats...I am impreseed that Ty Law got Peyton 3 times. He had Marvin Harrison covered all day and the Pats D-Line didn't give Peyton the same amount of time in the pocket as he had the previous games. Very impressive victory indeed.

As for the Super Bowl...as much as I love the underdog, I cannot see the Patriots losing to the Panthers. However, I might pick the Panthers if I was given a few points on the spread.

I've dislike the Pat's ever since they beat the Rams, so I only had 1 team to choose that I thought could beat em, plus, if I was to be correct and the Panthers did win, I'd be able to talk a lot of shit :)

Only chance the Panther's have is to try and rough up Brady and get him to pass like a blind man with arthritis the way they did with McNabb. Apparently he probably wouldnt even have been able to play if they had made it to the superbowl. Colts-Pats game was the REAL superbowl, imo.

I'm hoping the blimp blows up over the stadium and tens of thousands perish, including the two teams.  I only say this because I despise both teams... despise...

The pats might have won in some people's eyes, but in mine they lost because they didn't cover the point spread. Damn them!

can't believe i watched the entire game including two hours of pregame shows, the worst sb commercials ever, and for the one brief moment that i go to take a leak...i miss janet jacksons tit live on t.v.  :(

This Super Bowl was a disappointment, and from many angles.  I enjoyed the iTunes+Pepsi commercial, and all of the Bud Light commercials.  The one with the cars and the 10' tall black guys was funny too (Chevy or Ford?).  Overall, I would much rather have seen Jessica Simpson's "teat" over Janet any day.  She only reminds me of Jacko with breasts.  The game didn't feel like the match up of the season, and i would quietly say that the Pro Bowl will most likely have more action.

Congrats to the Pats on a great game for them, but I think Vinitieri (sp?) should have been the MVP.  This is the second time he has sealed the win for the Pats in a Super Bowl.  Yeah, he blew one field goal, but the other one was blocked and not his fault.  Carolina has a pretty decent special teams package and have blocked many extra points and field goals.  He kicked everything pretty much within the 15 yd line and I don't believe there were any touch backs.  Tom Brady threw a great game, but that interception "lob" into the end zone cost the Pats 6 points, and Vinitieri's miss only cost 3.  Besides, Brady got it two years ago.
