Title: I've got a problem with AA 2.0.a Post by: th.Sentinel on January 15, 2004, 05:37:33 pm I lost my G5 for a couple of days due to repairs (and now he still doesn't work properly). And when I got it back I tried to install AA again. I saw there was a new update out so I installed it, but I got some strange problems with Punkbuster.
Its always giving me the message: client in distress... and after a couple of times I get booted from the server. So I thought it was the updater and installed AA 2.0 again, did the update, but still had the same problem. Then I downloaded the full version of AA again the 2.0.a version, but now I'm still getting the same problems. Can someone help me with this?? Tnx for the help. I have noticed on The .::|N|etwork Server 2 that tons of people are joining, and then being booted by PunkBuster for some error loading a pbag. We think it has something to do with the new speacial forces, Sand Storm map. Other than that, all of the .::|N| guys have been able to join, but like I said, we've noticed tons of others who always get booted. .::|N| Noto Basically, try reinstalling, and then getting the new SF Sand Storm map. I haven't had a problem yet, and the only thing I have done recently was install the new map. I have never done it myself but it seems easy enough. after that everything should be fine. spread the word to anyone else you meet with the same problem.
