Any word on when and if there will be a demo for the game? I hope the demo has similar requirements to the full game.

Hopefully they didn't  ??? Which other games from Aspyr were ported badly? I heard Spearhead was, but I havent played it yet, so I don't know.

The port was done by i5works. They sound ot have done a good job from the people that represent them on IMG. They added threads so dual procesors could work together insted of just on one processor. I wonder just how well a G5 will run this, guess I'll just have to wait and see...if there are G5 bugs i'll kill someone.

Nomad, if you played it on the PC, you'd realize that they did fuck some stuff up in that port.  Most if it has to do with hosting games from the Mac.

Example, even on a LAN, when hosted from a Mac the games tend to lag compared to hosting from a PC.  But hosted from a PC, the mac doesn't lag at all.  

It's not shit, but it is a problem.

Aspyr does do well with anything that was based on Q3, very few problems on RTCW, EF or EF2 that I ever saw, even compared to the PC side.

Since RvS isn't based off a redstorm engine, but UT, we can at least hope it was a good port.

o and hbs, hbs is kinda bullshit in that game. Not that easy to use...

Its not easy to use, you are right. But it is also no more a little cheat it was in all former R6 titles.

now HBS is more realistic. And guys - play the single, too. It is great.

absalon is right, ghr people are gonna get fucked up. its a faster paced gameplay, more of what rsers would be used to. i dont doubt kos and rnt will be at the top of the ladder.

HBs in RvS are awesome. You look at a wall ( when using the HBs ), and you can see a flashing heart apear where the person is.

sorry to say but rnt was never any good at rs, they just used the euro lag, bts may be good at ghr but they are definately not kos material no matter what the game is. kos owned all, except swat. but rest assured, the competition will be fierce and i look forward to it, as should you all. watch and see, kilzo will bring the team.

kilzo, if you're still in denial, i have news; euro lag was a myth, you could play with them with under a 150 ping which is just fine for rs. rnt is damn good.

Lol, I thought you knew, and as you may or may not know, sar is PsYcHQ, we're pretty good at that game which led us to believe that we'd be good at RvS, but I think it's a little bit of a different game so to speak.

BTW: I sure hope you guys settle all this mess and stuff from past R6/RS days before this game is released, and I hope the "GhR noob" stuff dissolves, it's all for the best, GL with RVS guys!:)

Not to brag..... because I always thought SWAT was evenly matched w/ kos when it came to skill. But the one cb KoS and SWAT had on the *DAMN BL resulted in a 6-1 win for kos. It was almost a sweep but one the 6th game oso rapped us all. It was a 4vs4. I think kyo, grifter, oso, and matt, played for them. I don't remember who exactly played for us, I think it was tech, dest, jo, and myself..

You proved you could beat ?K without rapid, but barely, and only cuz aut was new to the organization. Rapid really isnt all that, me and Angrydad or Monk could have taken that cb regardless of rapid. So for typhy to say I was never any good is bs and he knows it. Thats why Im sayin we can prove it anytime, if you see me and AD or Monk on and want to try, jut let me know.
