Title: iPod Question Post by: *DAMN Hazard on December 07, 2003, 07:42:20 pm I'm asking for an iPod for Christmas, the cheapest one 10 GB for 299. I have two nice Bose speakers that I just got and I was wondering if there was anyway I would be able to hook those speakers up to my iPod. The speakers hook up like regular speakers with those skinny wires. Can this be done or do I need an accessory?

Title: Re:iPod Question Post by: Mr. Lothario on December 08, 2003, 06:47:23 am Car adapters are possible because your car's head unit (AKA your "stereo") contains an amp. The iPod itself is not powerful enough to drive large speakers, but the head unit is.

Title: Re:iPod Question Post by: BFG on December 09, 2003, 12:43:11 am There is actually a nifty little power adapter that gives your ipod some juice so you can power bigger speakers. Just a week or two ago i bought the 40GB ipod (oh what a beautiful beast it is) and its currently 84% full :D
