Title: HX5 mod problem Post by: Fishy99 on November 17, 2003, 01:15:22 am http://www.locogamer.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=search&query=vmac
The HX mod is pretty cool. Except a few mission didn't work. They either crash or give you blackscreen (and loud static sounds). e.g. HX5-0, 5-1, 5-2, 5-4. Any expert here can fix it and make it truly mac compatible? Mauti and I have both taken a look at that series of missions and there is no fix at the present time :( amd apparently (some?) PC users may be experiencing the same problem. When I can I'll take a look at it on the PC side. Title: Re:HX5 mod problem Post by: Fishy99 on November 17, 2003, 05:59:14 pm I saw that mauti posted HX5 today:
http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/macmods/grtotalconversion.shtml Unfortunately, it is only available for paid subsrciber as of this morning. Is that version any different from the one I posted earlier? I wonder... I will download it when it is available, and report it here later. Thanks Title: Re:HX5 mod problem Post by: *DAMN Mauti on November 17, 2003, 08:14:21 pm Yes the version is different and was really converted for use with a Mac.
The public and free server are now working. Bye, Mauti Title: Re:HX5 mod problem Post by: Fishy99 on November 17, 2003, 08:28:40 pm Mauti,
Thanks. Public download is indeed working now. I will give it a try as soon as the download is done. Thanks again, you are the best. Title: Re:HX5 mod problem Post by: *DAMN Mauti on November 17, 2003, 09:27:14 pm The version contains lots of fixes compared to the Locogamer version but as the readme states most missions with vehicle inserts will crash so play around with the other gametypes.
