Title: GR and Mac
Post by: ingeloop on October 29, 2003, 08:43:03 pm
hi!

here?s a question for all the mac-users out there.
which graphic prefs is most suitable for playing GR
when you?ve got a mac.
i have G4 733mhz with 896 RAM and a Geforce4 128mb card.
honestly i must say that i experience that it seems just
like when i had a 32mb card.
some missions are "lagging" and are painful to play..,...still
???
i hope anyone has some good advices to share.

best regards/ ingeloop

What do you mean Open GL needs to be optimized?

Can I do that?

or is Apple jerking my cock about by taking it's sweet time in delivering me my needed driver updates?

nvidia drivers are in os updates,,,
mod missions get laggy...

open gl is at 1.3

if you get a video card...it wont be that big a diff,,,
cause bus speeds are at 133 on G4's

800 to 1ghz on g5...

if the whole the info is going thru is small(133mhz)...it dont matter whast pushin it(g4,5,6)...

think different,,`
