Title: New Clan Management
Post by: Ace on September 23, 2003, 07:30:52 pm
I'm a little confused about the new clan management system, and I didn't see a good explanation anywhere I searched. What is the difference in what the leader, waradmins, and regular members can do?

Yes, there is:
The Clanleader (there can be only one per clan) can change  the ClanData. Which means email adress, web site, long clanname and the Ladders the Clan participates in the current season. A Leader can also Post and Confirm ClanBattles.

The Waradmins can only Post and Confirm ClanBattles.

A normal member only shows up as a clanmember, but has no management abilities.

I hope that lifts the fog a bit...

yes - but only the pending CB's that are to be confirmed by them.

example:
MP plays against TRIBE. the leader or[\b] a waradmin of MP posts the battle. then, the waradmins or the clanleader of TRIBE can see and confirm (or reject) the CB.

if they reject the CB, the CB goes to the BL admins who will take the matter in their hands.

Who exactly are the waradmins? Are they just the battle league admins?

Example: AcE def. ------ in a rogue spear cb, and Silvio is not around to post the results. Who do the AcE clanmembers go to in order to have the results posted?

a war admin simply posts wins and losses, so for example, silvio isnt there, then, his trusted war admin(s) could do it for him.

1-does the managment has a history list of what do/did war arrangers?

In tribe we have like hmm 5 or 6 WA

2-so if Plopje by example agree to cb MP, will we c cb vs mp the xxdayxxdate agreed by Plopje ?
so others WA can track also what has been done ( or better can they c also infos about this incoming cb)

3-Are u gona add a calendar/agenda that any registred member can track to see when cb will be? will be a cool feature

4-"f they reject the CB, the CB goes to the BL admins who will take the matter in their hands." sorry i didnt yet read new rules but we are forced to play clans when they submited us a cb or its only for finals ?

mb u can grab some ideas there El

I thinm its only when the results are not confirmed by a clan so there is aproblem and the bl admins should solve it
I play a cb I logg in results and the leader of other clan or warrarrengers of other clan confirms or starts bitching that i was wrong and then you got a conflict
and a calender should be cool otherwise WA should just post a msg in thier forum with the date

@Horda:

1) no.

2) what do you mean by this?

3) the idea has been around, but i didn't have enough time for that. to do this, another submission system would have to be programmed.

4) i think there's been a misunderstanding: you only post CB's after you played them. that leaves you room to play the CB on the date you like 'cause you aren't bound by the date.

clanbase is a very cool thing - i also got some ideas from them. maybe i'll do a calendar module at a later time...

You misunderstood my question.

I wasn't asking what the admins do, I'm asking who they are. Names.

If Ace wins a cb and silv isn't there to post it, WHO do we ask to post it.

if you click on the name of a clan in the BL list, you get the pop-up window with basic info for the clan.

at the bottom of this window is a 'more info' link, which gives you all the data you could ever want on other clans....the leader, admins, members, etc. pretty cool.

nice job guys.

The clanleader can give trusted members Waradmin privilegies. If you are registered as a Clanmember, you can use the "Clanmember Management" link to view all info about clanmembers you ever wanted.

Silvio selects them so there is no problems with inactive clan leaders. And horda try using iCal or sticky notes...
