Title: FrostBite Post by: [TRIBE]Meatwagon on June 12, 2003, 06:06:06 pm was having fun going through the missions and it ran well except for the first mission. but now im up to mission 5 and everytime i try to load this mission ( press the advance arrow from setup screen) which then it goes to the screen where you wait for it to load, and it never does, i guess i always crash in this faze, cause it never advances beyond this point. i want to continue w/ the missions. any idea whats up?

Well please post your lke.log file after you crash. May that helps to find what causes the problem. Bye, Mauti Title: Re:FrostBite Post by: [TRIBE]Meatwagon on June 12, 2003, 07:20:04 pm where do i find the Ike.log file? srry for not knowing? if it matter to where i find it. im running os 9.2.2. thx mauti
Title: Re:FrostBite Post by: *DAMN Mauti on June 12, 2003, 07:25:28 pm Just open your Ghost Recon - Desert Siege Folder there it is. You should be able to open the file with apple works or simple text. I am on OS9.2.2 as well so this doesn't matter.
Bye, Mauti Title: Re:FrostBite Post by: [TRIBE]Meatwagon on June 12, 2003, 07:29:38 pm thx again mauti. ill do that once i get out of work and go home and intentionally crash my computer.
on another note, im running recon w/ virtual memory on cuase i only have 384 mb of ram.(So i have vm set at 990mb) going to purchase more ram so i can run it w/out vm on. does that increase performance of game if you have alot of ram w/ virtual memory turned off? Title: Re:FrostBite Post by: BeefyFigure on June 14, 2003, 12:20:31 am I have noticed that by increasing VM you also decrease the amount of HD space you have. That hurts my nuts simply by hearing it. Title: Re:FrostBite Post by: [TRIBE]Meatwagon on June 14, 2003, 05:35:18 pm no worries mauti. for some reason when i tried it this time it loaded fine. dont know. its seemed like it was going to crash but i hit the mouse button and it loaded.lol...and what a mission, i love this game. very dark even w/ nv. keep ghetting shot in the back...lol. anyway thx for wanting to help, but problem solved...
