*DAMN R6 Forum

Hey guys, I need help.  I installed Spearhead just like it says I should, asctually I was reinsstalled Mohaa again.  After I installed Spearhead, and tried to launch the single player to see how the game is, it gives me an error that says "AglGetError: invalid enumerant"  
Now wtf does that mean???  I cant even sample the game.  I reinstalled mohaa again along with Spearhead and still gave me the same exact error, does anyone know what that means? or better yet know how to help me??

Actually I forgot to mention this detail.  When I launch the game (Spearhead) in SP mode, BEFORE i get that error message, and dialog box appears and shows a whole bunch of Programming language that automatically scrolls down right before I get the Orange Background showing with the error I mentioned above.
Didn't know if that meant anything.  Does anyone else see the same thing when launching Spearhead??

The programming screen that pops up after launch is normal.

Ok to help out on Spearhead problem:

1. Do you meet minimum system requirements?

2. Have you updated MOH:AA to current version?

3. Is your MOH:AA or Spearhead media scratched?

4. Do you keep your system and hard drive maintenanced?

5. Do you run it in OSX? (performance is generally better in osx)

Here are the answers:

1. I dont meet the requirements, but that shouldnt prevent me from being able to launch the game.

2. Yes, MOH:AA update comes with the Spearhead CD. It comes with the version 1.14, before that I have not updated MOH:AA b/c I dont think there is any other update.

3.My MOH:AA and Spearhead CD's are both in excellent condition. Besides I never use the original CD to play the game, I always make a back up copy and store the original away.

4. What do u mean by maintenaced??  Exactly what should I be doing, if the comp.  is running fine.

5. No this computer I am trying to run the game on is only OS 9, not powerful enough for OS X.  But both MOH:AA and Spearhead can be played on OS 9.2.2, which is what my OS is.

OK I called Aspyr Today and they helped me out.  

I didnt mention before that I also tried to launch the game on my iBook 500Mhz and it gave me another error.  Mentioned something about a Verdana font.  So I went to the Aspyr site anc went to their support section and had the solution to this problem.  It basically had to do with the .pk3 files not being installed properly thru the game installer and so I had to manually do it.  ANd presto!! it worked, but unfortunately the comp (iBook) is way to slow.

Now the other comp error.  Basically they mentioned the the agl. error means that the Open GL is too old and doesnt support the game.  But i know that i have a kick ass card that comp so all I had to do is make a copy of the Open GL from my iBook and put it in my beige G3 tower and should work.  But since that comp is 400 Mhz and the game is not running smooth on my 500 Mhz iBook then not worth even trying.

CONCLUSION: Time to buy a new Computer  :(
