They are: Everquest Everquest2 Shadowbane BF1942 WWIIOnline Planetside(soon) World of Warcraft(soon) Asheron's Call 2 Sims online and possibly a few more... Have I missed something, or is putting that on your list just speculation? Just wondering, cause I've been waiting so frickin' long for any word on this game :)

Post by: kami on June 03, 2003, 02:24:44 am Well originally they were intending to have multiplayer in GTA: Vice City, however for some reason they didn't activate the feature... So now some modders are trying to make a multiplayer version of the game for PC by activating the code that's already in the game, apparently they're doing quite well with a playable beta version soon.
SC2, ah yes, can't wait either, I really hope they come out with something official soon, or just release the full game in 2 weeks out of the blue, that would be great too. I don't think BF42 is regarded as a MMO game since the highest number of players in one game is 64. Compare that with WW2 Online. WoW is really something I'm waiting to see, I love fantasy MMORPGs and I really think that this could be one of the better ones. Firstly because it's Blizzard... they make some awesome games. Secondly, has Blizzard ever NOT released any of their games for mac (not counting SC: Ghost that was only for consoles)? Also I love the WC race setup with the orcs, humans etc. |
