Omg, you guys have to see this game. It will not be released until 9/30/03, but there are movie previews of the game. The graphics are unbeilevable, it looks like the gameplay and everything is Computer Generated. Here is the link for the movies.. Reply to this thread and tell me if you think if the graphics are way better than the first game (HalfLife).

first off i'll assume that is the PC release date
second off, do we have any guarentee that this will make it to the mac? Sierra screwed us once before with half life (and thus counterstrike. DIE sierra DIE!)

Half-Life won't come out on mac, I'm sure of this.

Well it's quite obvious that this game won't come out for mac... I think Snipey knew that as well.

Damit people, I just posted this thread for HalfLife 2 because the graphics were so good. I dont care what platform it was for, I was just showing you all how good the graphics were..

To be honest, I looked at this for the same reason that Brain did.  Cause i thought you had some info on Sierra finally pulling the long pole they stuffed out of the asses of the Mac people when they screwed us on the first one, but I guess not.  Mac only!....... Mac only

One, how can you say that? HL2 looks fucking awesome, looks just as good as Doom3 (which for you who don't know, looks even more fucking awesome). You can't even compare Raven Shield to these high standards ;)

Honestly the Unreal Warfare engine seems to be 10years old compared to the HL2 engine. This game currently blows everything away. Only Doom3 could compete graphicaly but at all I prefer the HL2 style. If you have seen the HL2 trailer and the 20min(500MB large) HL2 booth from Gamespy or Gamespot you know that this is engine is almost photorealistic . I could dream to mod this game to a Rainbow Six. The buildings and physics are outstanding.

Hopefully it comes to my new dual 2Ghz 970 with a Radeon 9800 Pro, hehe.

I'm not that excited about half life 2. It looks cool and all but i hated the first ones single/multiplayer concepts. What I am excited about is the graphics and the engine of half life 2, so moders can make some tight mods. The First half-life had in my opinion some of the greatest mods ever. Counter-strike, Day of Deafeat, Fire Arms. These were all great games. I think when half life 2 comes out, many awesome mods will be made. and then i shall play them and have a good time, and you guys shall do the same. that is, if it comes out on mac which it probably won't.
