Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: SNiPeR9x on April 19, 2003, 06:44:23 pm Well man, I don't think so!
'Cause I was used to use the MS3D too, but I sttoped doing it becuase knew it wasn't apropriated to R6 (It's much easier to use)!! Now I can't use this damn 3d-max because it's very hard to do any model - complicated! Weel, but if you find anby plugin, please tell me alright? :P www.sefmods.kit.net (http://www.sefmods.kit.net) Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Raven2367 on April 19, 2003, 08:35:59 pm yeah ok thanks I'll keep looking.

thats the very good tutorial i learnt it with. you'll see its a lot easier than with Milk shape because 3ds max draws the faces for you! :D Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: SNiPeR9x on April 21, 2003, 04:37:09 am Thak you a lot Raven!
It seems to be easy to do!! :o Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Cocobolo on April 22, 2003, 06:24:02 pm Sorry guys, no way RSE released a plugin for Milkshape. You need to convert the .chr to a DXF file, import into MS3D, then export as a DXF and use a convertor to switch it into a crp again. That was the process.
Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Raven2367 on April 22, 2003, 10:19:45 pm oh no that sounds hard. Why did they release a plugin for importing .qob without one for exporting .qob.
Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Cocobolo on April 24, 2003, 12:12:15 am As far as I know there is no plugin to import a qob into MS3D. You have to import as a dxf and export as a dxf, and use a convertor to change to/from dxf into crp format. I found one over at @war or Jester's site waaaay back.
Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Raven2367 on April 24, 2003, 12:04:54 pm I've got a ;) .qob importer
Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: SNiPeR9x on April 25, 2003, 06:50:04 pm I've got a ;) .qob importer Ohh Really Raven?? Is it for MS3D what you got?? And I've another question - the .DXF file corresponds to the character model, right? And the .QOB file corresponds to weapon ansd itens model, right? :o Title: Re:exporting .qob Post by: Raven2367 on April 25, 2003, 11:29:22 pm yeah I've got the newest version of MS3D and it was in the package. And yes as far as i know .qob is for items and .dfx is for characters
