I can't take it anymore absalon. Lets get a few things straight.
1. I don't like you.
2. I don't want to cb you (cb's are played for fun, not to be able to say you "pwn" someone.)
3. I don't want to 1v1 you.
4. I don't care if you beat us 7-0. It only says that our clanmembers have lives, and don't practice 24/7. You winning 7-0 shows nothing but an obsession for the game, and a lack of anything else in life.
5. Your views make me sick. Anyone who thinks nothing wrong happened on 9/11 can go to hell.
6. You don't know how to properly debate an argument. When someone brings up a logical point against your argument, you calling them twelve years old isn't going to help. It merely shows your lack of a decent rebuttle.
7. Don't accuse others of being immature just because they are a couple years younger than you. The human being is able to make knowledge-based decisions (some better than others) starting at age 12 (12? 13?). That is a scientific fact. So, calling someone twelve years old, especially when they are older than that, and clearly more mature than you are, once again, hurts your arguments.

I would like to share with you all a quick conversation I had after Absalon won a 1v1 vs anonymous. He can say his name if he feels like it, but I won't.

You have to be kidding me. Don't accuse me of saying something that I never said. Use actual quotes next time, ass. War is anything but cool. However, when certain situations come up, it is necessary to take out the threats. I didn't say we have to necessarily NUKE him, because that may be a bit much. I said that we should continue strategic bombing, such as hitting military bases, weapon factories, nuclear plants, etc. It's not like I said we should drop a nuke on a village of farmers.

Sure, I consider the military cool. Want to know why? Because they protect my country, my friends, my family. They risk their lives for the welfare well being of others. To me, that qualifies them for being "cool", or what ever word you wish to use. I don't think "cool" describes it correctly. Maybe "respect" and "appreciation" would be better words to use. Maybe you don't think your military is cool because you rarely, if ever, have had to use them. The United States, unfortunately, does not have that luxury.

Ok, there are many levels of interpersonal relations than "enemies" and "friends" I did not want to continue this pathetic feud, so I finally decided to say, "alright, forget it, I'm just going to end it here." I made a nice long apologetic post at the end of my "Petition" thread, hoping it would allow us to just forget about this. iMat, being a decent human being, acknowledged my effort to end the fight, and agreed to forget about it all. You on the other hand... You just won't let it go. That is one characteristic that can really bring about a downfall in someone. What happens if your bank manager tells you that you're wrong about something (for example, don't make a rebuttle saying that he wouldn't do something like that) and you defend yourself, and he eventually apologizes, seeing that you're his only janitor, and he needs to keep his bank clean. Wait a minute, this is good right? You've gotten the last laugh. You've kept your job. Your boss just apologized to you, how often does that happen in life? Maybe if you sue him for discrimination, and he tries to settle out of court? Life couldn't get any better.

Unfortunately, it's the REASONS that they want to go to war that are at issue, and if you look at them, they make no sense whatsoever. No sense, that is, besides pillaging an oil country to get free exports and consume the rest of our planets natural resources ever faster than before.

That said, just take a chill pill, fellas. Abs, somethign bad did happen on 9/11, thought it may have happened to a bad country. I someone killed 5,00 people in your country, would you shrug it off? Didn't think so. And if you would, damn you're cynical.

This is the only arguement you ever make. That and, "Oh, Americans killed the Indians!". First, compared to Nazi Germany, Russia, and Japan, America has not killed that many civilians (this includes the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan.)
During WWII, I believe Germany killed some 10 million civilians, probably more. In Russia, Stalin had about 3 million (correct me if I'm wrong) of his own people killed. I don't know the figures for Japan, but when they attacked China, they slaughtered plenty of Chinese citizens. Now, onto your next arguement, "Americans killed all those Indians!".
First, they're called Native Americans. Second, it wasn't just Americans killing them. There were English, French, and Spaniards killing them as well. I'm not justifying their actions, I'm just stating the facts. Spain destroyed entire civilizations in South America, as well as in the West Indies/Carribean. Just about every civilization has been built on the ruins of others. You can't single out Americans just because you don't like the way we do business.

Damn, I was way off on that number. My Russian history is a bit fuzzy. Also, Abs, how ignorant are you? America is NOT going to use nuclear weapons on Iraq. There are many reasons for this...
1. America tries it's best not to use nuclear weapons(only used them in one war).
2. The radiation from those nuclear weapons would leave us quite a mess to clean up. The United States wouldn't want to endanger the civilian population and the populations of the surrounding countries. Radiation clouds move and shift, and could contaminate a large portion of the Middle East.
3. The international community would not think highly of the United States if we used nuclear weapons in ANY conflict.

last time i checked a human life was a human life. the amount of lives taken isn't relevant when dealing in millions. to take a life is wrong, whether it be one innocent person or one million.

Absalon - I have no personnal quarrel with you at all but your attempts to justify the WTC attack as "America had it coming" makes me sick. It is never acceptable to kill innocent people no matter what their government has done in the past. I dont know where you're from, but im assuming its somewhere in Europe. Off the top of my head I can't think of a single European country that doesn't have any blood on its hands.
    As for the war on iraq, you have been making the assumption that every American out there is supporting it and is "rallying" behind Bush. However there are a lot of people who do not support him, as I thought would be made evident by all the antiwar posts on this forum. I personally dislike George Bush. I have never voted for him or any member of his party. So please don't stereotype Americans as psychotic warmongering whitetrash because thats not what we are.  And i'm originally from Europe so dont play me with that 'backwards perspective" shit. You would probably find that Americans are some of the nicest people if you ever bothered to meet one or visit here.

BTW - that "cool" american army is the same one that sacrificed hundreds of thousands of its young men to free Europe from the nazis. ;)

on a sidenote, i think it's sick and inappropriate as well to speak of al-kaida and saddam and hitler and stalin in one breath. we're still talking of different proportions here. ... ppl seem very quick on this board in mixing things and piling up the dead to see who is better and who is worse and insulting everybody personally and making a 'we are americans, we rule'/'we are europeans, we rule' thing out of everything. completely misses the point imho, and is contradictory to a fruitful and interesting debate.

Mellow just to make it clear. America ( US Army ) killed alot of civilians:

1) Native Americans : under US Flag
2) Slaves
3) WWII + Hiroshima and Nagasaki ( may i spelled it wrong )
4) Vietnam using chemicals against Wood --> Civilians die, North Vietnamesian soldiers die + US Soldiers die.
5) Golf War I  -> Embargo on Iraq --> Civilans have nothing to eat and die out of hungryness.
6) Nuclear Amunition in Araq still killes thousend of ppl esp. childs
7) Many unknown Actions
8) Bosnien --> coleteral demages --> more civiliens killed then enemies!!!!


when u go out and try to find out how many ppl died in evry Action then u will see the US Army isnt that clean u think.


Cossak as far as I know the historacans say that he killed around 40 - 80 Mio of own population. You are right i just wanted to make that more clear as u did.

Using the Hbomb in Nagasaki and Hiroshima was absolutly not nessessary.

Hologram, I'm well aware of what America has done in the past. I'm not ignorant. I was simply proving to Abs that America isn't the only country with blood on it's hands. As for the U.S. not needing to use atomic weapons, you are incorrect. America was originally going to invade Japan. However, once they realized how fanatical the Japanese were during that time, they decided against it. Not just the Japanese military, but it's civilian population as well was prepared to defend against attack. This would mean more American casualties, and huge amounts of Japanese casualties. Yes, it's true America was using the A-bombs to show it's power, but it was the only way to bring a quick end to the war without further American casualties. If the U.S. had invaded Japan, I'm sure more Japanese soldiers and civilians would have died compared to the casualties inflicted by the two A-bombs. I'm in no way saying that killing people is right, and I don't support the war in Iraq. I also don't support Abs and his anti-Americanism. As for the computer that the U.S. has, we have had those types of computers since the Cold War. We also have bunker-busting bombs, which were put in use in Afghanistan effectively and in the first Gulf War as well. If you really think America will use nuclear weapons on Iraq, you're out of your mind. Anyhoo, let's do what Haz says and all group hug?  8)
