Modified Typhy's correction to be correct, he spelled appreciate and fresh incorrectly.  No color added ;).

If you decided to try to become more mature, sure, but keep it to yourself and let other people discover your maturity instead..

Typing fast acounts for spelling errors, but not sentances with no subjects.

First, if you were typing fast there would have been spelling errors.
Second, wtf is this.  I agree, u should just let others find out and not tell them.  I dont think a "mature person" would have posted something like this.  Then again, they are already mature, but u get what im saying.

Actually i am not really that mad about being kicked out of bs! I had to leave it anyway. I know things dont happen overnight but they can happen overtime. All this topic sums up is you should see a change in me. Also yes i do know how to lock this, and i will.

  Matt, I've known you for a good time and let me tell you one thing. Change is one that is to be earned, it also takes time and even longer time for other to notice. It's not like ur just getting a new hair cut.

And my posts look so much longer when Im typing them be4 I post them. But I dont see that how many lines has enny thing to do with my advice to Matt... ???

Haha, what does the length of a post have to do with anything? It's all about the substance of it.  ;D

and people, when you're gonna do something, don't announce it. just do it.

I didn't say my posts held any substance now did I? I'm just saying that it's all about the quality, not the quantity.  ;D

But then, you can OD on substance. I mean, I gloss over many of typhy's posts because they're so long I fall asleep halfway through. too much filler, not enough quick points.

And effective post is quick, to the point, and doesn't nitpick on other people spelling and/or grammatical errors. We all know we're not perfect spellers, esp. online. We don't need you to tell us as well.

I didn't say typhy's long posts held a lot of substance... Perhaps lots of text but lots of substance? I agree totally on the short post thing, and I don't pick a lot on other peoples spelling, I just do it when someone else does it before me. So shoot me  :-[

I'd be careful saying that around Typhy. He's a loose cannon.
Now if someone corrects a spelling mistake constructively, like i've seen typhy do a few times, that's fine. But making fun of someone for their errors is immature.

Typhy...I have to agree with the others. Try making your point in as few sentences as possible. I'd rather fall asleep on my bed than my keyboard  ;D

 I dunno Pyrex, sometimes it's actually a positive when people don't read my posts... They tend to say dumb things as a result of it. ;) - Honestly though, I really should work on making them shorter and more to the point.

no offense towards typhy, but his posts aren't really spectacular when it comes to substance.  if you really want to see what a solid post is, go back into the forums away and look at one of grifter's old posts (he posted in purple, that should making iding the posts easier for you guys)  he did 2 and 3 page long posts frequently, and often with no more than 10 returns in the whole thing.

Dare I mention that I rarely made it all the way through one of Grifter's posts awake? I read 'em like I read books for school.. glossed over, read the first and last sentences of each paragraph, then moved on to the next one.

oh.. I forgot to mention... the purple was kinda hard on my eyes, as well.

  I just skam through the sentence or paragraph or page or even (Typhy) 3 pages. I do the same in school, like Capt pointed out. Enny ways this is so off topic.
   So Matt...I welcome the new you. You can start off by not tking me when I call you 'Mattsturbater'  ;)

Well as long as we're on the subject of quality. . .

This thread is one of the more pointless we've had in a while.  I'm not sure why it was ever unlocked, but there's an easy way to remedy that.

Also, just to chip in my 2?, I'll disagree with Brain on one small point.  Grifter's posts were great, but having returns helps a lot.  For example, if I were to combine this entire post into one paragraph, it would be much more difficult to read.  At least in my opinion.
