Usually I dont let a game get to me but GOD DAMNIT!!!!!!! What the fucking hell. Are you people so stupid you cant tell the diff between two unis. Ok given they are similar. The helmets are different, or maybe you glass wearing nerds cant see. "Oh the name didnt show up Cossack, err sorry" well if you are too fucking blind to see the diff between unis than go into option and put names on so you dont fucking tk me. It really pisses me off, right when I am about to break a spawn camp some shit for brains on my team shoots me, 5 fucking times in a fucking row. MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!!! God Damn I am pissed. Wouldnt the gamers be smart enough if they allow tking in RS, dont allow it in GhR?

If you tk in Ghost Recon, you are a moron for not seeing that your reticule turns blue whenever you highlight your teamate. Also, the game sends you a message talking about friendly fire whenever you are hitting your own teamate. More often than not, you wont get a 1 hit kill, so you should put 2 and 2 together and stop firing ont he target.

No tk's would be gay mattster.  I'd hate shooting at a friend 50 times with no result. They go for realism now days.

The only problem i've ever had with being TKed is when i'm out ahead of my teammates or flanking and the noob teammate gets scared and shoots me. The problem is that most people don't check their maps. Oh well, i'll begin booting people who suck alot from my host.

As for the subject Cossack, it is much hard to tell the difference between unis and often you can kill someone before the name even pops up.

They ought to make tking even MORE realistic.

As in, once you realize you've just shot your teammate (who in real life would be a trusted companion and likely friend), you have a grief reaction.

That is, you might start running around crazily out in the open (getting yourself killed.  You also might collapse on the ground sobbing (getting yourself killed) or running far away from the scene.  Or you could become determined and shoot with better accuracy.  Or you could immediately nade yourself.

See. . .that would be more fun, and it would make a penalty for stupid tking.

I like that. Its just the fact that people rely too much on IFF. Not enough on actually noticing the diff.

I think he was asking why do games allow the tking in their programming... Like, why do the games let you shoot your own team. (the answer realism, more fun, more challange)

Well, in Raven Shield, the penalty for tk's (if the host has it on) is that the one who is tk'ed can force the tk'er to sit out a round. This is generally good for open games where anyone and everyone plays.
