Is there anyway to play Rogue Spear offline without the cd? This may seem like a stupid question, but I can play UT without the cd. If anyone knows, please tell, im getting sick of crazy lag games online.

I'm goin out on a limb here, but this guy seems like a pirater... anyone else see the pattern? "how do I play rogue spear offline without the cd..." Well you don't get the cd if you pirate it.. "How do I mount the image of the cd" Well, you could put the cd in your computer.. that is, unless you don't HAVE the cd, in which case, you're a pirater. I'm asking the moderators for a deleted thread, or locked.  >:(

This sounds legit to me. First off, if he pirated RS, he would have done it with a mounted image in the first place, therefore it would be kinda dumb for him to need to ask again. I know I use disk images in OS 9 so my computer won't overheat from the disk drive.

another legit use is speed
my comp can access my hd faster than my cd drive so i made images and use them
i got a noticable boost in preformance of the game in sp mode (mp still depends mostly on the connection though :()

I'm with these guys... I have more HD space then time to look for CD's... so I keep images of most of the games on my HD.

Plus, Ace has a good point that if the guy pirated it, he'd probably already know all about disk images.
