the comics you find at the top are from an old R6 clan - SA - Silent Ambush!? I am not sure however you can find the original pics at the *DAMN R6/screenshot section/artworks.

However I am gonna do also some on my own ;)

P.S.: The main purpose for the comics were to invite clans to a cb. SA had a mail function. However SA is long gone and I found it worth to save these cool comics.  Probably I should make the boobles a little bit larger. I'll do so when I am back home.

I started DJ'ing/mixing back in 1990, strictly vinyl, none of the CD stuff. Got pretty good (Mixing 5 hours a day, lol) and started battling locally and up in NYC, doing block parties, etc..

My setup now is way smaller than it was, bunch of stuff got stolen years ago. I run a pair of Technics SL-1200 turntables with a Numark battle mixer, Numark amp, Tascam 4 track, numark Eq, 2 double 15" and 2 double 12" cabinets, yada yada. Used to have some studio equip, also a friend of mine had a full blown studio so I used to use that to make beats, etc.. Nice 36 track board and tons of rack mounted goodies.

Just picked up a few records last week, El-p's Fantastic Damage, Def-Jux compilation #1, Non-Phixion single from 99 and the new Weathermen single. Double copies, of course ;)

hell we could use a bit of adrenaline-pumping music for castle conquest at EMR next april! forget the 2-way radios, lets break out the [very shock-resistant] CD-Players!

LOL I was screaming into my radio at the top of my lungs last time we did the castle, you can't hear a goddam thing! It's just total chaos, radios are almost useless. It probably wouldn't matter if you threw on a set of headphones and blasted music,  since there's so much noise you can never tell where the shots are coming from anyway  ::)

yeah we were fine that nite tho, i couldnt understand dennis cuz of his ski mask, and when i got in late i found out we were on opposite teams AFTER we both ended up in the dead zone... "ok, radio OFF! =]" wasnt too bad tho, it was just that the ski mask/balaclava/whatever was muffling everyone. ive got a new one, with mouth opening and 2 eye slots instead of one big one. looks sweet under the mask, kinda evil.

IDEA! we can blast the Hell March theme from Command and Conquer: Red Alert in our headphones!

I dont like cds ether but its so hard to get vinyl.

Well I feel a good DJ can do all those things to some degree. Gotta really use everything you've got as far as skills, because the other guy will also. It wasn't quite as crazy back in the mid 90's as it is now though, lol.

The places I use to frequent, there would have been some mixing and batteling alright, as soon as you scratched up a perfectly good Waylon Jennings record  ;D
