Title: omg macs without os9?? wtf? Post by: |MP|Cringe on November 12, 2002, 11:45:50 pm Apparently, starting in 2003, all Macs sold after the beginning of the year will be completely mac osx only. This means no os9, and no Classic mode within osx, since they altered the processor or something so that it is impossible to run os9 on it. wtf?

I don't see what the problem is, the newer computers handle osX well and alot faster. Plus the damn thing won't crash.

Apple is doing a good thing by phasing out os9. It reasures developers that it is commited to X. Classic will still work after that, but you won't be able to reboot into os9. RS doesn't work in osX, get over it, and play GHR. |
