Title: Ghost recons promblems Post by: MainMaN on November 11, 2002, 04:23:08 am YO YO YO, mainman here and i got this wacko promblem with my ghost recon game... And if u solve it mabe ill give u something in return cause im stuped
1st of all ill give u my system.. yes i know its shit.. so plz keep ur laughing to urself...=) -PowerBook G3 -266mhz -128 built-in-memory -350 Virtual Memory -graphics card: ATI,RageLTPro (some1 told me i have 8-16mb) and i have 500 mb left in my 4 gig hd.. (top of the line ;) ) Ok heres my promblem.. my RS works fine (rogue spear) and my tactical ops.. but for some reason my ghr doesnt.. the only requirement i dont meet for it is MHZ(450 is req.) I own both ghost recon and ghost recon demo and every time i start it my graphics are messed.. everything is smooth and working expect it looks like shit.. i took screen shots and posted them here: http://the_m4.tripod.com/ghostreconpics/ thats what my ghr looks like.. i dont know why.. plz dont say i need a new computer.. cause i know that allrdy.. i just want these BS graphics 2 do away.. plz help I know this Ghr should work on my MAC i just dont know why its doing this..everything ELSE is fine -mainman ::) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/YaBBImages/banana.gif) Title: Re:Ghost recons promblems Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on November 11, 2002, 04:44:31 am I don't think your graphics card can support the game...that is why you see all of the funny colors and what not. You could probably get a much newer mac for pretty cheap now, so go out and get one. :D

Your Processor is at about 1/2 the required speed Your video memory is 1/8th the required amount (yes the 233mhz laptops had a wooping 2megs video memory acording to a program that lists the specs of all macs) I think you should be more concerned over how your gonna get a new mac, rather than trying to get GHR to run on that computer. the much awaited patch does NOT fix the crashing of GHR. I'm not playing on-line, not using game ranger, running a g4 w/ a 1gighz CPU 640meg of ram, Radeon graphics card (OEM) w/ 32meg of video ram. Game freezes in "mid-stream." Any thoughts? anthony ??? |
