Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Suicide_Commando on October 28, 2002, 02:33:57 pm That turned out really good. Can't wait to fire some fletchetes into tangos with that sucker. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/YaBBImages/rambo.gif)
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: WardenMac on October 30, 2002, 02:11:08 am The first weapon that Ive made the body out of one cylinder. Came out okay I guess. Took alot of time to make, but worth it of course... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/YaBBImages/banana.gif)
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Suicide_Commando on October 30, 2002, 02:48:49 am What's the poly count on it?
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: WardenMac on October 30, 2002, 05:04:12 am I have no idea. Trust me you dont want to know....... ;D
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: WardenMac on October 30, 2002, 05:09:48 am which one is it that tells ya, vertics or faces?
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Suicide_Commando on October 30, 2002, 08:03:41 pm Faces I think is the same.
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: WardenMac on October 30, 2002, 11:46:13 pm its like 960, none of the faces are deleted and I made it with way too many sides I think. Should have no problem using it though. Ive had several higher than that
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Cobra6 on October 31, 2002, 12:09:18 am The ACR plays flawlessly on my machine with all the operatives using it at the same time. I only have a PIII 500 with 396 mb of RAM and a Gforce mx420 card.
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Suicide_Commando on October 31, 2002, 12:12:49 am I'm not too worried about the game running bad. I was just curious about the count because Mac said he made it out of a cylinder which, iirc , means lots of polys. At any rate I still think it looks amazing. ;D
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Cobra6 on October 31, 2002, 12:15:24 am It's a fun weapon to shoot. Low recoil, quick rate of fire...24 rounds goes real quick, but ead shots are very easy.
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: Suicide_Commando on October 31, 2002, 01:51:43 am Edit - Nevermind, alittle research answered my question.
Title: Re:Steyr ACR Post by: WardenMac on October 31, 2002, 03:14:44 am No theres nothing to worry about, alot of my past weapons were made with many cylinders, cones, and tubes. I finally learned edit mesh with coco's help of course. I could probably cut them in half if I tried. Just not that motivated I guess ;D
