Let me know if you'd like me to add this tutorial to our Tutorials section. I would give you full credit of course and also display your banner at the bottom like you have it, but I'd change the page to match the others in my site. Later
Title: Re:Made a tutorial for your scopes Post by: masiro on September 03, 2002, 07:19:44 pm That's OK for me, Coco.

Feel free to edit the text to make it fit better. The main trouble I incountered was the Ghost Recon RSB plugin, I downloaded it somewhere and it doesn't preserve the Alpha channels. It worked perfectly with the old Rogue Spear plugin. So maybe add a link or upload it. I had the same trouble with Cobra6 reticules tutorials (http://www.infonegocio.com/dixi/images/masiroheader.jpg) Title: Re:Made a tutorial for your scopes Post by: Cocobolo on September 04, 2002, 02:21:07 pm Well we both (me and Cobra) use the newer RSB plugin that comes with Desert Seige, and it seems to work fine. Maybe you should reinstall the plugin, it should work.. I am going to go ahead and remove the "old" from the references to this plugin since I think it will reduce some confusion if that's ok.
Title: Re:Made a tutorial for your scopes Post by: masiro on September 04, 2002, 03:11:57 pm I do understand now. I don't have Desert Seige, so I was not able to save RSB.files correctly.

get the plugins here, great tutorials also. This guy actually worked on GR for RedStrom. Title: Re:Made a tutorial for your scopes Post by: masiro on September 04, 2002, 10:04:20 pm That's the place where I got my RSB plugin from.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the options panel. (http://www.infonegocio.com/dixi/images/options.jpg) I love the tutorials on that site. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the options panel. (http://www.infonegocio.com/dixi/images/options.jpg) You need to put a check in the "alpha blended" box for it to utilize the alpha channel. I think that's your mistake. I will edit your tutorial to show that the texture should be saved as an RSB with the alpha blended box checked, instead of a .TGA file, before posting it. |
