The settings are difficult to get right, cause I have to switch back and forth between Ethernet and Airport (cause my family has to be able to use the internet too) hardware and software both need switching. When Gameranger didn't work, but IE did, GameSmith did, AOL IM did, and Netscape did, I really got confused. Thanks for the info, though. EVERONE!!! TO GAMESMITH!!! This proggie SUCKS! sorry you don't like it snake, but it doesn't suck. it gave 30 some users the oppertunity to chat and get some games going last night that they didn't have when gameranger was down. remember, if you read what we posted about it, it's not a gameranger replacement, it's a backup for times like last night when gr is down (which has happened for a week at a time in the past). so please, until you put something together for free for everyone here to use, refrain from the "this proggie sucks" comments. And i strongly believe that that that is no way, to treat the people he needs to keep Game Rangerrunning and opperational! Evill produces money from Game Ranger. Through the sponsors. He needs us so that the sponsors know that there advertizements are being seen! And I really don't wanna help Evill out by making him money! I mean yes, a boat load goes to servers and other shit but what about the left over dollars! Is he lineing his pockets with it or is he giveing it away to a charity organation? I say he gives it to charity!!!!!
