Post by: 0 Kilz:M: on August 21, 2002, 01:24:41 am
Ok, everytime I try to log into gr it says error type 2, so I trash all my gr prefs and download the new gr3, but yet I still cant login or connect in any way. Anyone know wtf is wrong here?

If your getting a type 2 error, then thats a memory related problem. Your computer might need more memory.....

rebuild your desktop, that could help,
if not then do a clean reinstall of your system. that will clean up even the most fucked up problems, as long as its not hardware related

Norton Disk Doctor.   Time to fix some files.  Type 1 is memory.  If I remember right (it's been a long time, sorry) Type 2 is registry/resource fork related problems.

Run disk doctor, see if that helps.  Also, try downloading a new copy of GR before you delete the old one.   For some reason, that sometimes helps.
