Well i don't know why typhy was banned because i wasnt on that long ago and i also wasnt on when ben was banned but i read his thread. :) but i think he should let both of them go becuase they both are great rs players and them having to ip join each game is unfair because 1: it causes a lot of lag and 2: it deletes a space for someone on gr to go. Ben should be freed because he didnt do anything wrong really and typhy also should be freed but if he did something that deserves a ban like he hack gr or something then no, he shouldnt be back on.

hehe Flame, nice statement about Typhy.  He actually has done less than Ben.  Typhy was bannd for saying that he was a gr admin, something that he had already been banned for, double jepardy.  I think his banning is extremely unfair and I voted for his release.  Also he is important to our IRSL team.

Also there IP joining doesn't delete space for someone on gr to join at all.  If it is a 10 person game, 10 gr people can join, and as many IP joiner that want to.  So if Typhy was in that game it would have 11 people, just thought I'd tell you that. ;)

Infection, in a 16 player game ip joiners do take up a space for people on gr to join as the game only supports 16 players at one time.

Many times we get too busy bitching about how gr3 sux or evill is a tyrant, and we forget that he made gr. He gave us the opportunity to play with others easily. I think we often forget that.

Yet my example was a 10 player game, as is normally hosted on GR, not too many like to support 16 players and the lag, therefore with a 10 person game the ip joiner wouldn't be taking up any space, there would just be 11 people in the game.

Here is what happened.  A while ago (6 months) Typhy had been acting like he was an admin and could ban...Evill found out and warned Typhy to not do it again.  Typhy didn't do it again.  Then back in June Viper and a few others decided it would be fun to send a chat log from before Typhy had been warned to Evill.  Upon recieving this Evill banned Typhy...even after being told that it was from prior to the warning and that Typhy hadn't broken the warning...and after saying he knew that.

It isn't that Typhy didn't deserve to be punished for what he did originally, he did...but to be punished for something he did before he was warned after heeding the warning is just wrong.

I think evill should unban BEN (one of the most fun players on GR, who makes most folks smile anytime he shows up), unban Typh, and perma ban the real assholes on GR, instead of wasting his time and others' with petty matters of "pride".

The 5 letters E-V-I-L-L should not be an excuse to ban someone. It seems that the sort of protectiveness Evill shows over his name is in response to something else that's missing? By persecuting the more charismatic members of GR, Evill is denying other users of GR, as well as demonstrating something about himself.

A monopoly does not a good person make. We should thank Evill for the service of GR, and in return he should act like someone who deserves such thanks.

There is no question that Ben is a remorseless smartass, but I can't think of anyone that more people like on GR. Maybe the disparity in their popularity is what caused the banning. Jealousy?

Oh yeah, and maybe evill should lighten up. It will do wonders for those headaches he must have from lack of oxygen to the brain because of his tight ass.

I'm pretty sure that I know who all of the votes of "Evill did nothing wrong" thing are. I got even more respect for Scott Kevill ( Evill ) than I had in the past when he gave me a warning rather than just banning me. - Thats one of the reasons that I made sure that there was a stop to all of it and things related to it, I lost all respect for him when he did ban me, I think somthing went wrong in his life, he used to be all cool... and now, well, just talk to him and you'll see how he is now.

I talked to Evill on GR yesterday and that was the first time i have ever saw him but he didn't seem that bad.... my thoughts are just don't do anything that would annoy some1, specially him because he has all the power to fuck things up.  :-[ i don't know about you, but if there were a bunch of people messing around with my name etc., i would be angry and i guess evill has been messed with b4 which should make him just angrier... mayb he should un ban everyone and try to give people a few chances before handing out the 5 year perma ban cards

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Viper's action fall under Unacceptable Behavior by BL rules?  It is obvious he has admitted to turning in Old chat logs with the sole purpose to get an opponent in trouble to delete that "Threat" present.  It worked like a charm, and Viper got his way and to this day, he laughs about his "deed".  I find that very unacceptable behavior and would like to see *DAMN take action against this player's extra unneccessary curricular activity that caused a senseless Ban.  It's only fair that if Typhy's banned, so should Viper in one way or another.  Thanks. I actually agree with Rapid on this. He was banned twice for the same thing and he got an active clan player kicked out of GR.

I of course agree with Rapid on this, he brings up a good point. By turning in chat logs that were old etc, just to get someone ban, he is trying to remove a very active Rogue Spear player from his clan and from the battle league, aren't there some rules against it?

I really cannot believe that Viper is actually admitting too, and correct me if Im wrong, PROUD of getting typhy banned. I guess humans can be as dispicable (viper) as they can be awesome (Ben). Goes to show where Evill stands. Since Viper is still playing and ben isn't. I personally would be mortified if I was Evill and found out that I had banned someone on the word of someone as small minded and malicious as Viper. I would immediately uban typhy and disconnect Viper for awhile and Post a personal appology to all members of GR. But thats just me.

Ok I have a few things to say about this whole issue over the misuse of banning, and a few things to say about Ultimo and Viper.  First off, Viper, get that 3 out of your lame ass name, because no matter what you say i will always and forever, laugh at your being a lameass by substituting letters for numbers.  You being proud of ruining someones fun boils my blood, i dont know typhy that well but what i do know is he is a hell of a better person than you are, and the fact that you blatently admit to it just makes it worse, I will be relaying my thoughts to evill in hopes of getting you permabanned.  2nd, Ultimo, your ass kissing of GR and Evill is not going to make you an admin any faster than you would like, and i know thats what you are trying to do, get on evills good side.  Now about this whole banning thing, it just seems like evill blew a major fuse over a small thing.  Banning players over nothing is totally unacceptable, and before you guys post anything, yes i have read what went on, and yes i do know why ben and typhy were banned, and its not that big of a deal.  I personally believe that R6 and RS made GR what it is today, and evill owes us as much appreciation for using it as we do to him for making it, however i lost most respect for evill because of the allegations against him, regarding what he has said to bondo, ben, typhy, and countless others.  I for one am totally for a protest of GR for all R6 and RS users, lets see what color evills piss is when he finds out no one is using his server.  That is all.

I disagree with Rapid in his statement that Viper should be kicked from KoS, ban perminantly from the battle league, and ban from GameRanger. - First off, the CF issue showed me how unfair being forced by the battle league to leave your clan in, and I will never suport the Battle league in kicking someone out of their clan. Perminantly ban from the battle league is a big harsh, yes, he tried and was sucessful in removing a very active member, also, I don't think that banning from GameRanger would be fair either, much like my ban, way to little to hand down a perma for, I do agree that two out of these three things should happen though, just on not quite as high of levels as he might like. Viper, and Ult both know as well as I do the exact reasons for Viper wanting to get me ban, I don't think they're anything though that needs to be said in a public forum. I would like to see Viper recive a sentence of being ban from the battle league until I am able to return to GameRanger. - While my guess is that he never said that those chat logs were new, I'm almost positive that he didn't mention how old they are. - He knew that the age of them was an inportant thing, and it's dishonest of him not to have mentioned that in his email to Evill.

I would like to see a 2 week ban from GameRanger. Nothing to long, but somthing that would give him time to consider his actions and how they have effected me. The most frusterating part of this, is that Viper has no regrets twards what he did. He just pulled the trigger, laughed and walked away. Up to this day, I still do, and will continue to have respect for the KoS clan. But much the same as my respect for PsYcO aSsAsSiN, I respect what you've acheived as a clan, but I think that you're assholes, ( Some of you ), don't get me wrong, there are many KoS that I like a lot, Geek USA and Hockey Guy are just two examples. Up until about a month ago, I had tons of respect for Ultimo, I still have a little, who can not have respect for someone who leads one of the best clans on GameRanger. But in the time that I've been ban, all that I've heard from Ultimo is negitivity twards me. Durring the issue of whos host the |?K| vs +-KoS-+ cb should be on, I was in the group of people who just said "I don't care what host it's on, I juts wanna get out there and battle". I think that Ultimo and Rapid were the only ones who really cared about this, I don't fault either of them for this, I am just using this as an example of how Ultimo and I used to get along and agree on many matters, bad example kinda, but I don't feel like deleting it and writing out a new on, ;)  I think that most of you can see my point that I am trying to make through it.

The fact is, that I still and will always respect the KoS playing skills, but many of them, in the case of Gorf, Ultimo, Viper and a few others, I no longer respect as people. If Viper would show a little remorse twards what he did, I'd be a lot more likely to just say "Oh well, it's over now". But when all that I hear from him is things like "You're right, it was fun". And stupid little things like that, then I think that he deserves some kind of penalty. It takes a pretty messed up mind to attempt to get someone ban who you've never even met, I find some of the logs that Jeb and others who were there have shown me pretty bad, you know what I'm talking about Viper, you didn't get me ban because you dislike me, you got me ban as a way to piss off Rapid, and for sevral other reasons that most of you can figure out just by looking at the Battle League pages. Once again, I'll say that I would like to see some kind of a punishment handed down to Viper, not as severe as what Rapid has sugested, but at least some kind of a punishment so that we can all see that behavior like this won't be acepted.

As for the requests for Viper to be banned or suspended from the BL (talking for myself not the BL) his acts were undoubtedly harsh and cowardly...but I don't see that as reason to kick him out of the BL.  In the end it was Evill's choice to have you banned not Viper's...so it is Evill who must be blamed fully.

Bondo, if you go by that, then Evill can never do anything wrong considering that he has no rules. It's his service, and he has the right to do as he pleases on it, the fact though, is that breaking rules isn't the only way to do wrong stuff. For example, if you lie to someone outside of the US court system, just like if you lie to your friend about somthing, that breaks no rules, it's still wrong though. Sence Scott runs the service, no rules apply to him. Scott did do wrong, I know that this point has been over used, but I have to bring it up again sence it's a very good point. In the US, somthing like what I was ban for is called double jeproady, you know the whole story, you've all heard it many times, the point is, that is all that needs to be said, that simple statement shows that what Scott did was wrong, no more needs to be said.

Disagree with me all you want typhy, but if you went out of your way to get someone from an opponent clan banned from GR, you'd find yourself booted from |?K|.  Easy as that kid.  I also would support *DAMN BL to suspend you as well.  So as much as you want to be the "nice guy" in this, there is no being nice when fools are playing with fire.  They will get BURNED  Call me harsh, call me an asshole, I don't give a fuck!  Anybody that does what Viper did, deserves EVERY LAST WORD of the punishment I suggested.  Especially if they are in my clan.

Wow Snake, you really are a moron.  I clearly stated that Viper did this on his own.  It was afterwards that his clan decided to back up his actions.  There's no way for me or anybody else to know or tell what their intentions were and wether they were even done as a team effort.  It would be easy to know that KoS didn't support those actions, if they would've took disciplinary action against  Viper, but instead, they decided to praise his actions and taunt us by putting it in our faces.  What am I supposed to think when I have all of KoS taunting me that they got my teamate banned?  I don't know where you get off thinking the way you do, but you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself in your own words Snake.  I brought my anger towards Viper and it was their whole team, including Ultimo the liar, that decided to defend and support Viper's actions.  That's why I leave that option open.  Yes, an option.  An option that can't be disregarded simply because of the way KoS is acting about this.  Maybe you'd like to see it disregarded since the KoS's are your buddies and you don't  want to believe they did wrong, but that's your own opinion, and a poor one.  The question remains...  And the more people like yourself that try to bury the truth, the longer this drama drags on.  Do you have SS's of typhy impersonating other members talking to you as them?  I can almost bet everything that you don't.  Leaving that comment to not be justified or credible.  Sure Typhy did wrong by impersonating an administrator, but he did it in an attempt to get people to stop acting like jackasses towards others.  That was needed by a real admin, but not one would help in the cause, leaving typhy the temptation to act like one, since he's seen how they act, and attempt to scare straight some of those trouble makers.   Too bad that's a big no no, and too bad typhy was dumb enough to think he had a right to do that.  That's why I think it is right that Evill banned him, just that I think Evill was way to harsh on him.  Anyways, try bringing an actual point before posting senseless crap Snake.  It'll help out getting thru this matter a little smoother...

Snake, the only time that I remember ever talking to you on GameRanger would be after VooDoo left FBI and it was going down, and I offered you help, thats it.  Rapid, you are correct in saying that if one of our |?K| members did that, they'd be gone in a second. I still stand with what I say in that, the battle league should never force a clan to boot a player, the reason, is that I was forced to leave |?K| for 3 weeks for the CF issue, I think that is the most unfair thing that I've ever seen happen in this battle league.

The reason for this, is I would like to think that I would state my opinion and how things really happen/ed wether it's what's popular in my clan or not, it's what I think. KoS isn't AK, we run a clan which doesn't tolerate things like that from our members, KoS obviously puts up with things like that, that's okay, KoS and AK are diffrent clans. Also, Rapid, inpersonating someone means that you change your name to theirs, you can say that you've got powers or say that your someone all day, thats not inpersoation, thats just stupidity. Rapid, I believe his point on that was it was you're host. If indexing started on your host, not only Typhy would be effected, but KoS as well. You would be the only one not lagging from it Rapid, so it would be in your advantage... Anyway, I don't wanna take sides in this shit, so please don't yell or insult me for this post... That is bullshit.  I talked to Evill about Typhy's ban the day it happened.  I asked him if he knew that those chat logs were old, from before the warning and he said yes but that he was banning anyways...no mention that it was because he finally had proof.  He just wanted to ban Typhy.

Viper, I find this amazingly funning considering that I'd just gotten back from a month long vacation to Europe, that proves that they were over a month old, most likely given how things worked out, I would estimate them around 4-6 months old.

I've never seen you back up your skills, You can see this from looking at your clans: CIA, FBI, KotA, and *DAMN. All good clans, but none of them are/where anything great, and neither are you, if you want to prove me wrong, then you get your butt out here for a 1v1. You also say that you can't belive that you actually made *NADS take the site down, that right there is a perfect example of a clan taking their time making a stupid thing like that to piss us off, rather than taking their time to train at Rogue Spear, and to actually try and beat us in a cb, to myself and my clan, the most important thing is to be #1 on the ladder, many things have combinded, including very good play by clans such as U, KoS and Virus bring AK down to the #4 spot, good work guys, we'll be back with a fresh start and ready to go for the next battle league.

We've won a battle league, and won our only battle that we did for the MaG league before it shut down. Considering that Ult has been able to beat us in cbs, he's got a little room to talk, unlike you, you're not at equal ground with people like Ultimo on this issue, Ulti has beatn us in cbs, congrats man, you've lost to us once, and refuse to battle us again, and you couldn't even take your loss like a man, you had to accuse us of cheating, and make me go to all the work of sending in Screen Shots to Crom to prove that we didn't.

I must say, when I look at this thread, I see many things, one of them is the fact that you seem to like to bring back things from the past that do not effect the topic at all so that you have somthing to try and hold up against us. I honestly don't know very much about indexing Ben, all that I know is that I was effected by somthing, oh well, it's over now. Not like people like you will never let whats dead die. That's a negative Ben.  I felt the timeout too, as do all hosts when their computers start indexing.  And typhy being a IP joiner from Alaska, he felt it the worst.  It just seemed to go away, but by that time, Typhy was already dead and affected by it and I had no idea, or I would've simply aborted the game.  Oh well, KoS can celebrate that all they want.  Not like I care about cheap games won anyways after is done and over with.   It just would've showed some sportsmanship if they would've been honest about the deal, rather than jumped on the opportunity to take a cheap won game.  Just another one to grow from...
