Title: Hi all and a question!
Post by: Flatliner on January 06, 2002, 10:30:43 am
Probably Cocobolo can answer this question best!
What is milkshape 3d used for in making skins isn't a hex editor all you need!?
Thanks

u are right FL, making the skin only requires the hex editor, but you are limited to the character models that are already there. Now, for like an OBL character, which is what I assume you mean from your email as well, you'd have to edit a model to create the larger head for the turban, and elongate the shirt tails to create a robe effect, etc.... this is what MS3d is used for. Also, you need the DXF-CRP convertor to turn the crp rogue spear model file into an editable DXF 3d model.
I did some drastic ones for RLTC, but my license is expired in Milkshape so I can't save anymore... :(
