Title: Saw The Resident Evil Trailer
Post by: Mr_Grenade on January 28, 2002, 10:29:45 pm
Saw it on that E movie show, looks terrible. I mean i saw a synopsis of the movie on IGN a while back and it was bad, but the trailer disgusted me. Saw a licker, but no hunters, can't have a RE movie with no hunters. They will probably have tyrant or nemesis at the end but i want a hunter. I know movies based on games are bad , but give me a break. Well if hollywood can't even put the skull on the Punisher , why should they give a crap bout any other movie. I'm really, really startin to hate the movies.

I'd venture to say that from your whining about the Punisher skull you aren't prepared for all the good movies that are released (not by hollywood though).

You just have to stop judging movies by those made from comics, games, for a ton of money, etc. and focus on ones that don't suck.

Yeah i know they will never get anything right when it comes to basing a movie on a property (game , comic, etc.) , but it is sad that it does not take much to get it right. It isn't that hard to get it right and to make at least a decent movie. It's like the @ssholes make the movies using Mad Libs, very sickening. I don't always focus on these kind of movies ,but it would be nice if someone could actually pull their head out of their @SS and make a good one. Yeah there is always the indie or good import to watch ,and on rare occasions a good studio flick. Probably won't even step into a theatre this year, unless someone else is paying .

One promising game to movie conversion is American McGee's Alice (and possibly Oz).  Then again both of the games are based on books already converted well into movie form so maybe it doesn't count.
