General it depends on the server settings on which sites you can execute which commands. For example if you are using php the site will probably have a .php ending so the server knows that he has to execute php commands on this site. Same counts for CGI and SHTML endings ;) So I can't give you any references on SHTML if you know CGI you will also get in contact with SHTML and Romulus I really like to help you but pls don't ask me yet about CGI. Visit a course or study it when you have graduated. I just learned the basics few days ago when I made addons for the Newspro script. whats funny!? - Only few seconds after I posted the above I thought I am sure someone will note that I haven't explained it 100% correct but then I thought nah who will read this thread and now you corrected me, lol. Wrath you have definitive to less to do, hehe 8) <!--- exec cgi.....-----> e.g. is a SSI command used by my counter cgi script to insert the number of current visitors. But this command will only be interpreted if is on a shtml site(at least on GameSpy).
