Been here for about a month and let me tell you it's probably the craziest place on Earth. Everything you heard about this place are probably somewhat true besides the negative stereotypes. I feel a lot safer here than anywhere in the States and the statistics agree.
Where else can you see an elephant walking down a city street during rush hour? In general the women are beautiful, the weather is warm, the beaches are awesome and the food is good. If you have not been I highly suggest checking it out sometime, preferably without your girlfriend.
