Title: E3 - what's your game highlight this year?
Post by: *DAMN Mauti on July 16, 2007, 09:06:54 am
My highlights this year are CoD4(however I'm still concerned about the gameplay), Metal Gear Solid 4(although the trailer was a bit boring this year, but hey it's Snake and the gameplay is outstanding), Mario Galaxy(as an Wii owner since march I'm really excited about this game, although I haven't played one hour yet due all my university stuff. Just my girlfriend uses it all the time and has fun with Zelda).

These are my top 3. Gran Turismo 5 looks great but it will be a long way until they release it and I doubt everything was ingame graphics, just as Killzone 2 wasn't.

If you haven't seen it yet: check out the Metal Gear Solid 4 gameplay movie http://www.gametrailers.com/player/22703.html

It's really amazing and just one of my favouite game series, but it seems nobody else here played the 3 prequels.

Although CoD4 looks amazing, Im looking forward to Crysis and Battlefield3.  Crysis should be out very soon and will take full advantage of DX10, Im sure CoD4 will also but I havnt read much about it, and only recently heard it would be released for PC and the console unlike CoD3 which was console only.

I wasn't aware Battlefield 3 has been announced for PC. I was under the impression it was so far a console-series announcement.

Yeah, of course I forgot about Crysis. I already have seen so much about it, and it can do some amazing things.

Especially from a technical viewpoint Crysis and it's engine are very interesting. I can't wait to see the engine also used by other games.
