Title: Database downtime Post by: *DAMN Mauti on October 22, 2006, 07:26:54 pm Sorry for the forum downtime. It seems the database server were srewed. Beside that I also had problems to access my account.
Everything should run fine again. Bye, Mauti Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: *DAMN Mauti on October 24, 2006, 01:22:09 am I just had to repair the message table which took a few minutes and blocked the database access.
It seems the server is still running a bit unstable. Since I'm not always on, what are you average loading times(shown at the bottom) when you come to the start page or view a topic? Do you experience long(annoying) loading times? Bye, Mauti Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: *DAMN Hazard on October 25, 2006, 06:01:24 pm Page created in 0.547 seconds with 20 queries. for this topic. the only time I get some lag is when I come from the *DAMN main page to the forum.

It seems that it only needs more time around midnight, when it runs some cron and maintenance tasks. Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: BFG on October 27, 2006, 01:11:53 am yeah right now its really hurting for me:

Usually it should be between 0.5 and 1 second. The times you describe should only occur at midnight server time. May I should delete some older messages to speed things up!? Lone, just take a look at the bottom of the page to see how long the server needed to create the page ;-) Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: (SiX)Sheixhundt on October 27, 2006, 02:41:55 pm lol Mauti,
there is a 90% chance that i just suck, and that my isp sucks, and that my traceroute looks like spaghetti. I would wait to see what some other US users say about their load times. I do have to wait a rather long time, but maybe im a special case. I have shitty pings to game servers that are ten miles away...always have. I cant imagine a 1 second load time for damn..that would be like driving a Maseratti or Ford Fusion TURBO! Quote Lone, just take a look at the bottom of the page to see how long the server needed to create the page ;-) omfg..pwn? (although that was a brilliant attempt at looking smarter than me Lone..you fancy-asspants)well shit..now see..that time, it only took like no seconds to load... Im sure its just me, Mauti..no need to start deleting stuff..im sure. cheers. Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: *DAMN Mauti on October 27, 2006, 02:45:28 pm Rgr that.
However it would be great if some other users could post their loading times as well. Thanks! Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: +OnlyOne+ on October 27, 2006, 06:53:24 pm .085 seconds with 23 quesries

Title: Re: Database downtime Post by: (SiX)Sheixhundt on November 10, 2006, 04:07:50 pm No, whats REALLY ironic, is semivolunteer developer A (whose product is designed to support itself) is publically taking potshots at the one ENTIRELY voluntary developer B whose product is designed solely to support Developer A's product.
sorta like apple publically bashing adobe and macromedia... THATS Ironic.
