Who agrees 3rd persons is classes as cheating?

Look at it this way do u have 3rd persons in realy life and this is wat gaming is coming too try to make them as realistic as possible.

I agree its cheating. example:

A guys behind wall he hits 3rd persons so he can see round corner so his head doesnt get blow part.

What are ur views?

By the rules 3rd person should be allowed unless both sides agree on it...maybe we would consider changing that to the other way around but that isn't how it is now so no it isn't cheating (it may be cheap though).

In MoH I have a similar complaint about lean walking (holding the lean button while moving around) it isn't realistic because the person would fall over.  And I do bitch about it constatly but it is part of the game so while it is cheap and I consider people who use it honorless, it isn't cheating.

but using 3rd persons to camp i.e in the ditch i storage till u see the enemy. is cheating

and knowing wats round the corner before u go round is cheating. maybe created a poll on the damn web site?

Sniper, like I said, it isn't cheating because everyone can do it, but I do feel as it is unreal that it is cheap and something that people shouldn't do just because people should have dignity.

i just checked the result and they are as follows:

Yes, it should be disabled      62.93%
No, it should be an option      37.07%

so its obvious ppl share the same thoughts as me.

Snipy I agree with you to. It is cheap. But camping is aloud and thats camping. But what if hbs was banned from cbs to thats not real and u can use it for camping.  There are a lot of ppl who zoom out to see the map and u can see where everyone is all the time. If they dont have jammer. So even tho its cheap, hbs is to so i think it should be aloud unless hbs isnt aloud.

Hmm, I could have sworn that keeping it as an option was ahead by about how much removing it is up now...I wonder if the notorious ballot stuffing has occurred.  But I wouldn't doubt the results at this point.

so what happens now?

3rd person is in my eyes cheating. they didnt give us the option to turn it off for no reason. if ppl do it in games, fine, if they have fun doin it, whatever, but i dont see a reason why it should be allowed in cbs. it should be banned like lag guns. its unfair and cheap. :(


also id like to point out that ViRuS as a european clan has a disadvantage in the lack of finding cbs. most clans in the bl are in the usa, and its a time difference of at least 6 hrs in my case. we really have problems findin cb opponents. like nixon said, 8 games yet. the leading clans have played twice as much. of course we didnt ask everyone 24/7 for a cb, but i can remember lots of evenings where we asked every clan with 2 guys on gr, without finding an opponent. i have no solution for this, but u gotta see we have a problem there. ? ???

Decision on 3rd person has been made...read BL page for that.

I understand that Euro clans have problems, DAMN is at its roots one although a majority of our players are US now.  But if you keep picking up the occasional CB and keep on winning you can still compete.
