TF6 defeats Freak in a 3 vs 3 RS match 6 - 1 with 1 draw added
AgT defeats AK in a 2 vs 2 RS match 6 - 4 - 1 with 1 draw added
StFu defeats TF6 in a 2 vs 2 RS match 6 - 4
RiP defeats AgT in a 2 vs 2 RS match 5 - 1

The games with 1 draw added was do to not being and even amount of games played. Good job to all clans who particapated and Good Luck with the rest of the season.

Hi welcome to the 2nd season of the *DAMN Battle League.

You can start clanbattling again and I hope you all have much fun.

Unfortunaly the redesign and the new features we were working on the last 4 weeks aren't done yet because of a stupid mistake by Elandrion. When he installed Jaguar on his system he deleted accidently his old HD partition and deleted all new script parts and the new design. However we are still working on it.

The R6 ladder has been resetted because only 3 clans are still playing it. About the map pack: I read in the forum that many of you worry about it. I can only say the maps will run on every mac that can handle chalet and desert plant. However the map pack isn't finished yet so you can still cb as you did in the first season. Also the maps won't have more bugs contrary they have a better quality than the RS ones and I can promise you - you gonna love the new maps

I don't think it will get the proper attention as a comment in the other post so I'll add it as a full post.

I need to recieve an e-mail from every clan that wishes to remain active by Friday night.
Please e-mail me (click my name to get my e-mail) and give me the following information.

What is your Clan Name?
Do you still wish to participate in the DAMN Battle League?
Which ladders do you wish to participate in (R6, RS, GR)?
Please go to the BL page and find your clan on the ladder and click on it...is all the information listed there correct? If not please include corrections.

The deadline has passed and a number of clans were removed...they can be made active at any time during the first month of the season by contacting me.

Finally the new BL rules avaible. You can download them here. These rules will count from 24.9.2002;12:00am GMT on.(Note that you have to download the new rules the rules.php site hasn't been updated yet)

Here are the most important changes:

• 7.1. A clanbattle official starts when you have played all lagtest games and agreed with the host. That means if you don't find a good host you can still drop the cb but once you agreed to a host and have played all lagtest games the cb counts for the ladder.
  
• 9. Ties count as regular played games.
  
• 11. The winner is the team with the most games won after the agreed upon number of games. In case of a tie, play tiebreaker sets (2 games on each host) until a set ends with a winner.
  
• 19.1. The winner of a cb has to submit the cb result.

• 22. *DAMN reserves the right to remove or ban any clan or player that acts unacceptably.
  22.1. Impersonation of a clan or players that is hurtful through a website, GR name/icons, or any type up to the admins' discression, is strictly forbidden and will be subject to punishment of offending clan/players.
  22.3. The two rules above will affect from 24.9.2002;12:00am GMT on all clans that are already registered and want to join the league in the future. *DAMN and the BL dissociates themselves from such behaviour and we won't hesitate to ban clans/players immediatly that ignore these rules.
  

The last point is one of the most important changes please report any violations of these rules asap at the BL Forum(after the 24.9.2002;12:00am GMT).

As you can see 3rd person has to be off in RS now. About the poll as I said once the poll tracks IPs and well 40 percent of your votes are invalid but both sides cheated almost equally so the vote against 3rd person won with 59.7percent(Thats the vote after wiping out all invalid votes).

Also the BL map pack hasn't been forced yet because of the delay of the BHD mod. The map pack will probably be forced with the next rules update.

You still can't sign up for the next season yet. However we are working 24/7 on the new BL site and script. So don't wonder if your clan hasn't been added to the ladders. About the already registered clans: Bondo will send off an mail soon to see which clans are still active or disbanded.

Because this was the first season also some clans that haven't played the 3 cbs against 3 clans can still join the 2nd season but expect that we are handling this rule stricter in the 2nd season.

General News: The RSD ladder will die and will be replaced by a Ghost Recon ladder also the overall ladder will be disabled. About the R6 ladder we will still run this ladder but I am not sure if we will reset this ladder or not(depends on how many clans of the 1st season still play R6)
