rule updates and *DBL Map Pack Update gonna be online today 6th may.

May they new ladders appear earlier than the files above will be online. You can use this time to setup the ladders your clan will participate in, or you can already join the 1vs1 or FFA ladders. However don't start any cbs before the new rules and files have been uploaded. They will be online during the day

When this is done I gonna post a new BL news item and announce the official start of season VIII.

Due some unfinished rule discussions the start of season VIII gonna be delayed to 6th may 2004.

another season is over but the winners haven't changed at all.

Once again z][t prooved that they are the Ghost Recon #1 clan. Followed by runner up MOD, who played their strongest GhR season so far and third being BTs.

A new game, old troubles. It was like a replay of season 5's GR final issue. BTs and MP5 were unable/unwilling/whatever to play against each other and as a consequence both clans were banned from season VIIs RvS finals. Further BTs is banned from participating at season VIII. All BTs members except the leader are allowed to play in the 1vs1 and FFA ladders as long as they remove the BTs tag from their screenname.

However because of these circumstances Core, who lost in the first final bracket against c| clear 2 - 0 got a second chance. c| kept the result from the first round and only needed another win to be the first RvS winner, but Core, back from a short meeting with devil himself, stroke back and won all 3 required cbs, and can now call themselves winner of *DAMNs first RvS season and c| being an excellent and very sportsmanlike runner up. Congratulations to both clans.


The GR 2vs2 CQB fun ladder was once more clearly dominated by one clan: BTs. Incredible how clear they win the fun ladders each season again. The AA Team ladder has finally seen some activity but still to less to announce a winner. May we see another 4 - 5 clans next season playing America's Army so we have a real competition there. Nevertheless I hope Toxic, a2 and BTs had their fun.

The R6 and RS 1vs1 Ladder: activity was quite satisfying especially since both games are already few years old. Cutter won the R6 ladder, 2nd was Autriche and 3rd (SiX) Tical.

Autriche won the RS ladder with a slim 34point advantage over maniac and Blake coming in as 3rd.

All winners should get their winner icon within the next 2 days. If not torture me with spam mails

The *DAMN BL Map pack will be updated to version 2.5 before season VIII starts. I guess most guys have already posted their suggestions in the appropriate BL Forum thread if not do so here!

To avoid the question when the next season will start; season VIII starts on 29th april and season IX will start: 10th july and the last final bracket will be played on 19th september. The summer season will be a little bit longer than usual.

What will be new in season VIII. The most important additions will be the GR and RvS FFA ladders. Further there will be some minor rule modifications especially for RvS.

Last but not least I really want to say a big big big THANK YOU to all admins who did a great job and really surprised me once more with their commitment. Thank you guys.

From now on the *DAMN BL Map Pack 2.0 is also required for all GhR Ladders.

The rules has been updated to version 2.3 and includes the new requirements as well as that if a player crashes during the game the game continues. See rule 10 and 13 for details.

Furthers the following *DBL MP 2.0 maps are allowed for the CQB GhR Ladder:

Chalet, Bunkers, Militia Compound, Warehouse and Shallow Creek.
