*DAMN SheepIcon [Tournament update] - [18.3.2006 ; 4:34 pm by :MoD:BFG] - [0] - *DAMN CommentIcon
firstly and most inportantly please note that since the latest GR update IP Joining is now not allowed and all games must be played though Game-ranger

Through out the Tournament I will have a Chat Room running on Game-Ranger where you may contact your sheduled clan and arrange details. Keep in mind that there are stick time deadlines for the tournament so id suggest making sure you are ready with time to spare for getting yourselves organized. We will have a team of Admins on throughout the evening to help.

Also to remember when hosting: The higher ranked clan chooses whether they want to host first or second.
Both of the hosts that you will use for the CB must be tested before you start CBing. First test the host who will host the 2nd half of the cbs then move to the host you are going to start with play you lagtest games and then start the actual cb. When you are done you are moving to the previously tested and agreed 2nd host. This means that nobody has any 'nasty' shocks moving to an untested server for the second part of a CB.

The rules and schedule graphics(version 1.2 now) have been updated. Further :V: pulled out of the GhR Adv ladder.

So the first Ghost Recon Adv rounds will be on 18th march and the RvS round will be one week later.

At all the RvS CQB ladder is the most active ladder with :V: taking the lead. In the GhR Advanced ladder cO: is ahead, while [a] is defending the GhR CQB lead. Last but not least is -aP- the number one RvS Adv clan.

Keep on cbing!

Bad news never come alone: first our server went down and was replaced with a new one, which caused that the first GR Advanced round was delayed and now a recent GameRanger update causes connection/lag issues as you probably have noticed. So cbs may suffer under high pings and delays.

We hope that this issue will be solved asap by Evill. As a consequence we are moving the dates of the tournament weekend to 18th March for Round 1 Ghost Recon and 25th March for Round 1 Raven Shield.

Nevertheless you can play your opponents from round 1 right now, if you don't experience any problems with the recent GameRanger update. We just have to postbone the dates to ensure fair and fun cbs for everyone.

The schedules will be updated soon.

Bye,

Mauti
