[New #1 clan !] - [21.1.2002 ; 8:51 pm - by +-KoS-+_Ultimo]
After playing 2 clan battles quickly after joining the battle league, OoA has managed to defeat FBI 6-3 in games, and 13-10 in kills. They earned 49 points for that victory. They also managaed to take down M|N 6-4 in games, 13-11 in kills !. This makes them the new #1 clan with 61 skill points. Great Job

Ok, so I'm doing the math I found earlier
The winning clan gets 10 points plus one point for every player (as you know, the BL rules say that the number of players per clan have to be determined before the CB) plus the rounded result of the division of the losing clan's points through the points of the winning clan multiplicated by 4.
Now, OoA won a 2 v 2 with FBI (who had 37 points at the time). This would give OoA 10 points for the win, +2 for the 2 v 2, and skill points of 37/0*4. Now, that last is trickey, as you can't divide by 0. So, 49 (points OoA got) - 12 (for the win and players) = 37. 37 is the number of points FBI had at the CB, not the number of points that would have come out of the formula.
So, while I'm not complaining at anyone's effort or intentions here (because you guys know me, and I'm not), I am confused about the math. When we CB'd FBI and they were in second place (with 25 points even I believe) we only got 14 points (we went from 39 to 53). Now, that being a 3 v 3, we should have gotten 10 + 3 for the win and whatever for skill (in this case we got 1, which, if my math is right, should have been 2.56 or 3). Please help me with this new math?? =P  Damn code didn't work last time |

since OoA had 0 points and the clans they CBed had more points, they got more points out of their wins then we did because the clans we cbed had either less or the same number of points as us. i think skill points gives more of an incentive to new(b?) clans to cb clans ranked higher in the league, but 61 skill points is a lot for 2 cbs. like grift said it doesnt matter in the long run. i like the skill points system but, it makes it easier for new clans to gain points and harder for clans on top to keep their position. oh, and i am not complaining or anything so... |

okie where the heck do these random points come from, they beat some and get 40 points, we beat some one and get like 3 points..... plz answer this comment ultimo...... doesnt seem to work out the way you are hoping.... |

Nice job OoA, but I think the points thing needs to be looked at. Looking at it this way, they cought up to us in 1 CB where we had 4. Not OoA's problem, but 50 ponts seems a lot to get out of one CB.
Not that it all wont work out in the end (as long as when we CB them we CAN earn enough points to pass them, then it works out fair... I'm worried that the points wont work that way.... still trying to figure them out...)
