To make the league more competive and give the top 6 a stronger importance I splitted the season into 2 parts. Next to it the new rules introduce a "challenge" system to organize clanbattles faster:

• A Battle League season lasts 3 months(90days) and is divided into two parts: the main season and the finals. After 75 days the main season is over, in that period each clan can only play each clan 4 times. The top 6 ranked clans of each ladder participate at the finals. For all other clans the season is over. At the finals you can play only against other clans that have made it into the finals. You can play each top 6 clan 3 times, furthers after playing one top 6 clan you have to play against two other top 6 clans before you can do a rematch. Due the skillpoint system it is possible that you lose so many points that you get out of the top 6. This will only affect the final season result but nevertheless you play the whole finals and no other clans will join the finals.
  

How to challenge a clan?

• Are you tired of asking every clan in GameRanger for a clanbattle? ADD .cb at the end of your name to show everyone you are up for a clanbattle(e.g. *DAMN Mauti wants to clanbattle -> changing name to: *DAMN Mauti.cb)
  
• You are annoyed that everyone asks you for a clanbattle but you only want to practice? Or you don't have time for a clanbattle? ADD .tp at the end of your name to show everyone you are practicing(e.g. *DAMN Mauti has no time for a cb, or wants to practice/chat -> changing name to: *DAMN Mauti.tp)
  
• How to challenge a clan? Due the tags you don't have to ask your teammembers if they have time for a cb anymore- you just see how many have time! and you see all other clans that want to cb(at least two guys of a clan must have a .cb). Just send a private message to another clan.cb mention game/number of players/who hosts/password and you can already open a room.cb in GameRanger.
  
• To avoid misunderstandings you should always change your name back to normal or add .tp when you are leaving GameRanger.
  
• It is up to you if this simple challenge system will work out or not. At all it should help you to find very fast a clan for a clanbattle.
  

Last but not least a definition of the *DAMN Battle League:

- clanladder only for MAC(Apple Macintosh) clans operating in GameRanger(www.gameranger.com). Other platform players are allowed in clanbattles as long as the majority is using Macs. Only clanbattles set up through GameRanger are counted;

All rules are immediatley valid. So if you didn't clanbattle yet you should hurry up to get into the finals. I hope many clans will make use of the .cb system. It could really improve clanbattling via GameRanger.
