- I just got mail that Night Vision let the Iraqi Freedom mod crash. I'm currently uploading a fixed version where I removed the Iraqi NV files. (*Update*: new version uploaded)
If you already downloaded the mod you can fix it yourself, just remove the following lines from your Iraqi Freedom/textures folder:
mask_sr-nv.rsb
mask_sr.rsb
mask_nv.rsb
nvmaskalpha.rsb
nvmask.rsb
nvnoise.rsb
Then nightvision works fine again.

- SUMMER VACATIONS! Yeah! I have done and hopefully passed my last tests for this term.
I have uploaded a fixed and improved version of the Frostbite 1.1 Updater. Further I have added Operation Iraqi Freedom and Urban Warrior Skins.
Tomorrow I gonna upload a NAvy Sealz 2.1 Updater that allows you to play the most downloaded weapon mod with the 1.4 GR patch, a new map, another weapon mod and tons of server sides.

- Some of you already noticed it. The Frostbite 1.1 patch doesn't work anymore. It quits after searching for Frostbite. First I thought it was my fault but today I got mail from Mindvision:
"There was an issue with shareware licenses and v8.2 where even if an installer was built with a valid code, it would expire after three days. You'll want to grab 8.2.1 as this resolves that problem."
Sorry about this. A new version, that includes fixes for the the DS sniper texture fand the AG3 sounds, will come on 28th June when I have finished my last test for this term.

- Hi guys,
I just want to inform you that I'm working on several mods and updates: another Frostbite update that fixes the sniper mp texture and AG3 sounds, a Navy Seals 2.1 update so it is finally compatible with the 1.4 patch, Operation Iraqi Freedom mod and many more. However I have university until 28th June(4 important tests remaining) so please be patient with me ;)
They will come as soon as I have the time...

- Finally the Mac Frostbite 1.1 update is out. You can get it at our Mac Downloads. Thanks to Mindvision/VISE for supporting us with their great installer software for another year.
Just click on the installer(works for MacOS9 and X) and it will automatically search for the Frostbite folder and update it to version 1.1.

In response to Leary's house latest news post(10.6.)(most of you can ignore this): OMG guys(guy) relax, wasn't meant to be a half assed review, could it be read as this(?), if yes excuse me! First I'm happy that someone else is also doing conversions, second I couldn't find any email address on your site so I posted the problems here, third .wav file performance depends very much on the OS and so the first few mods have kept their original sound files because I didn't notice any performance differences in OS9, but all mods released within the last few months have .aif files ;)
The next desktop will be dedicated to you. Peace.

- Hi guys and gals,
as requested I uploaded several server side missions, a skin modification, a weapon mod and a total conversion. As a reminder if you use the Advanced search options you can view all mods released within a certain period of time on one site. As usual you can get all mods at the Mac Downloads.
Still no mail from Mindvision(must be the long holiday weekend) so all Frostbite fans still have to wait a bit for the patch. But check out Leary's House for some GR mods and a full Frostbite 1.1 version but a word of caution I downloaded some of their conversions to save me a little bit time and noticed that they/he only runs the .exe file and converts the sound files but doesn't fix any long filenames/ movie formats/blank textures and other Mac related stuff. However nice site especially for server side missions.
If you didn't noticed it on sunday I have uploaded a new desktop. More at our Arts & Screenshots section.

- Hi guys,
today I have a new WW2 Total Conversion for you: Icebreaker 39-45 Operation Barbarossa. In addition you can download the superb Opposing Force German Voice Over so all enemies speak german instead of having russian voices.
Further I added yesterday a remake of the Rainbow Six Mint map for Ghost Recon. As usual you get all mods at our Mac Downloads.
May you noticed that Frostbite 1.1 was released for PC: the reason why you can't find it here yet is that I want to build an VISE updater so you don't have to overwrite all the files yourself. Well due my harddisk crash I lost my serial number I already contacted VISE to resend me it but this can need some time so it will probably released by the end of the weekend, but no promises.
An user requested more server side missions: within the next few days I'll upload several server side missions and other character/total conversion mods but now I have to go back and learn for my university math and data modelling test.
